Evening :D

Isn't this thread getting a bit long btw?

It is, but this is the only thread around that people seem to be interested in so i'm not complaining

How's you today? ^_^

Hello Y!!!!!!!kes and G-Man ^_^

I wouldn't like BJ as much as I do if there weren't any Inc's :o

Yeah but long threads are part of what buggers up the server (I think :unsure) but yeah you could always close this one and start another one but it's not my forum anymore so I can't tell you what to do

I'm good thanks, been around here a lot today and mostly quite pleased with the Brits nominations :D

Brit nominations eh?

So, who's nominated for what?

I'm going now :yahoo: Bye Bye Nicky ^_^

Awwwwww.... bye Nicky

It's not as bad once you're in uni... you only get a couple of exams per semester, but there are quite a few written assignments etc to hand in every so often

Thankfully you get a heads up by reading the Module Guides, which tell you what assignments and exams happen when ^_^

It's not that that's stressing me out :P It's open days and having to go to them on my own, and grants, and fees, and scholarships, and accomodation prices :( Oh and I have two exams this week

Grants, fees etc etc = you're given forms and that in your first week. All you have to do is fill them out and hand them in and it's sorted B)

Can't help you with accomodation prices (since im at home), but you're given a leaflet explaining all the prices for the various student accomodations around the city. Oh, and they're currently building some brand new chicago-style apartments next to the river, overlooking the campus i'm based on... they should hopefully be ready by the time you come to Sunderland (if you choose to come here, that is) ^_^ They're really nice, but i can imagine they'll cost a fair bit

I've raked out the leaflet I was given, and here's a rough price guide for you:

The Forge: 40 weeks: Standard Room - £2144 (total), En suite [limited availability] - £2344 (total)

50 weeks: Standard - £2680 total, En-suite [limited availability]- £2930 total

Clanny House [40 wks only]: Small room - £2086 total, Medium - £2128 total, Large - £2170 total, X large - £2210 total

(With heat and electric included): Large - £2370, Medium - £2328

Penns Bank [40 wks only]: Standard room - £2292 total

The Precinct (Heat/electric included): 40 weeks- £2396 total, 50 weeks- £2995 total

All Saints: Standard- £2086 total, En-Suite (Limited availability)- £2286 total

Summerhill (h/e inc): 40 weeks- £2248 total, 50 weeks- £2810 total

It says you have to pay for your accomodation in 3 payment 'periods', depending on where you've chosen to stay, it can cost you anything from £750 to £1011 per period! Of course these periods may change slightly for when you enter university, but they'll give you a rough idea:

Period one is ASAP - 31 October

Period two is 5 Jan - 31 jan

Period three is 5 Apr - 30 Apr

Hope that helps, Andre ^_^

Best place to look is the sunderland university website... tells you everything you need to know about...well, everything!

Sunderland Uni Website

You're also given your own personal university space at my.sunderland.ac.uk, which is where you can email people, keep an eye on your grades, access module guides etc etc etc. A bit tricky to get your head round at first, but useful nonetheless B)

Wow... we desperately need some new posts in here! :o

Almost 24 hours without a single reply

Well we're wanting a kickabout, but if it's p***ing down (which it's supposed to :( ), then we'll probs just have a mooch around town for a bit

We're having a macdonalds come rain or shine though  :P

I was thinking it was time to close this thread, and start a new one...

If you agree, I will do the honours :P

Can I have the honours of starting up the new FeelGoodInc (or whatever we're calling it)? ^_^

I'd be truly honoured

So, just to round off this thread:
