Good afternoon, and after a week of c**p weather we finally see some signs of it being very close to actually being summer :lol:

 

I'm going to start posting my chart, for the next couple of weeks anyway, on a Wednesday now, this week especially cos I'm very excited about my chart today because we have a mini clearout again, yay!!!!!

 

So, as per ususal lets tkae a look at the songs that make way for today's 4 brand new entries:

It pains me to say goodbye to Saint Etienne this week, but it could re-enter again in a very quiet week in the distant future. Also, former number one from Sam Sparro leaves the chart after 10 weeks, which leaves Madonna as this week's longest runner.

 

In one of those tedious link style intros, this leads me to the first record inside the top 20 at number 20, a record that has been in my chart for an impressive total of 12 weeks, without even reaching number 1. Down 4 places at 20 this week and kicking off the chart it is Madonna, with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland with '4 Minutes'......

Number 1 This Week: A song that really deserves to be number one, it's Mint Royale's 'Singing In The Rain' (1 week so far......).

 

Highest New Entry: The highest of 4 new entries charts thanks to Britian's Got Talent, a track the peaked at numer 20 in 2005.

 

Biggest Faller: The Guillemots drop 7 places this week from number 3 to number 10.

 

Highest Climber: The Mystery Jets climb a massive 7 places to a peak of number 3, swapping round with The Guillemots.

 

Longest Runner: The title continues to be held by Madonna, now spending their 12th week in the chart. Will she be here next week??

 

Tip For Next Week's Chart: Infadels and (I can't believe I'm saying this!!) Ne-Yo are battling for the number one next week.
