June 7, 200817 yr We will tonight. In a magazine it says 'and the Doctor will find out who this mysterious woman really is'...
June 7, 200817 yr God, I hope tonight's episode lives up and excels last week's opener, if it does I think this will be one of the best two parters, up there with last year's two parter from Paul Cornell, I'm so excited, hope the Euro c**p doesn't delay my weekly fix of DW
June 7, 200817 yr Author That was the best 2 parter of the entire revamped Dr. Who series, it had everything from twists, scary moments, and a very dark 2 parter episode, well done Steven Moffat, I was hooked from the start to the finish, with the volume higher than usual. 10/10 from me. Next week's episode looks a bit sketchy... I wish they stop previewing trailers at the end of each episode.
June 7, 200817 yr Wooo! An excellent 2nd part to a brilliant start. Brilliant plot, acting and scares all round! 10/10
June 7, 200817 yr This dark episode had everything, yet left you with more questions than answers. Perfection. 10/10
June 7, 200817 yr Better than last weeks... The actors really thrive on good scripts too, a good script will always bring out the best in actors. I thought the ending was nice too. I guess we'll find out exactly who River Song is in the future though...
June 7, 200817 yr Author I think she is the Doctor's Wife. I think so too, it also dropped some questions for this season's finale
June 7, 200817 yr The best episode of the series so far, and the best end to a 2-part story in this programme. 10/10
June 7, 200817 yr There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said except for the fact that for any Catherine Tate haters, 3 words...... IN YOUR FACE Superb acting all round, brilliantly written, however, not too sure about next week's could be good, doesn't look like Donna's going to have a decent part in it, wonder who's written it, but best 2 parter of the 4 series, Steven Moffat has written the best story ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10
June 7, 200817 yr Have to agree, this 2-parter has been the best of the series so far... Steven Moffat is an excellent writer, and it's good that he will be the next producer. So the Doctor did find out who riversong was but it was left open for the viewers to keep guessing. Could be his future wife? Let's face it he has a granddaughter, so he must have had some family at some point...so it's not totally bizarre to think of the doctor in some sort of relationship. It's not just a subject that's never been spoken of throughout it's 45 year history. (45! Now that sounds old!) Anyway back to the episode, very good with great acting and suspense/drama. 10/10
June 8, 200817 yr There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said except for the fact that for any Catherine Tate haters, 3 words...... IN YOUR FACE Dave, I think you've completely missed the point with fans of Dr Who not liking Catherine Tate. Anyone who watched Catherine Tate in Wild West knows what an excellent actress she is. After all she comes from the Royal Shakespeare Company so that tells you exactly her acting calibre & pedigree. But the problem I had with Catherine Tate was with the character of Donna fitting into Dr Who, as her comic abilities are far to similar to her characters from her excellent (well for the first two series, until two of her main writers left to give birth to Gavin & Stacey) Catherine Tate show. I still feel it is no coincidence that the best episodes of this series have been the darker episodes, whilst the more comedic episodes have been spoiled because of the character of Donna sharing annoying similarities to her well known characters from the Catherine Tate Show.
June 8, 200817 yr Oh yes i agree that Donna has bascially approved a lot from the first episode, shes improved with every episode really.

OK, maybe I got a little bit carried away but I think what I meant to say is that this episode proved that she can leave the comedy behind and excel with the right script, I think there was too much similarity to the comedy of the characters in her show at the very beginning but I feel that after the first 3/4 episodes she, well from my perspective, really worked as a character and I hope this is the start of a brilliant climax to a great series, still series 3 is the best for me but this 2-parter has got to be the strongest of all stories in its 4 year revival!!!!
June 8, 200817 yr Superb acting all round, brilliantly written, however, not too sure about next week's could be good, doesn't look like Donna's going to have a decent part in it, wonder who's written it, but best 2 parter of the 4 series, Steven Moffat has written the best story ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 It's basically like a Donna-lite episode, with the Doctor trundling off in that shuttle thing from the trailer.
June 9, 200817 yr definatley the best yet, 10/10 and yes Catherine Tate was brilliant on Saturdays episode but I totally agree with everything 'this is pop' said the only reason I had doubts as she kept morphing into her shows characters and it is a bit too comedic for me, then again that could be the producers/dicrectors than want her to act in that way.
