The Foo Fighters tracks and albums will be because of their two Wembley Stadium gigs they did over the weekend. And there's been a lot of coverage of them on Radio 1 all last week too.
June 10, 200817 yr Author Since Rihanna's track is on physicals, and Mint Royale is relying on downloads, it seems it could go neck and neck, as Rihanna has the advantage with physicals on her side, we get a better picture, when we get further updates across the week, but not all full updates are guaranteed every day. Don't expect The Fratellis to hang on, after Friday Coldplay will smash them easily
June 10, 200817 yr I'm here to answer queries between 12pm and 1pm if any come in. "Viva La Vida" will only become eligible from Thursay (so Friday's mids) but only the album version. Since people are downloading the single version en masse at the moment it's unlikely to do much in the chart, unless attention switches immediately to the album version upon the album's release. The single version will continue to be NCQ, so I only see the album version denting the bottom of the Top 40 by Sunday as it will have only chalked up 3 days' worth of sales. interesting...I think all versions will drop anyway...whoever is downloading it is obviously buying it as a taster for the album...as soon as that's out attention will switch to the album, although I expect all of the Coldplay album tracks to cherry pick their way into the iTunes top 100 by the weekend
June 10, 200817 yr I don't know why some people think Rihanna could go back to No.1...yes Mint Royale is running out of steam, but add up the popularity of all of the versions and its still easily ahead of every other single on iTunes...it will definitely get a second week at No.1
