July 15, 200817 yr I think the semi final results have really narrowed the possible entries for future BJSCs, FSR Farahtyn were knocked out decidedly showing novelty shows aren't the way to go, Bhangra and FNT Nickodonia show even some of the best loved songs from the last few decades are just too old to be enterred and we already know male artists do significantly less well than females.
July 15, 200817 yr I am determined to find a male act to do well. I nearly went with Cartel over Kate Voegele in BJSC 5, but thankfully not  as Kate did great  Nearly went with RyanDan this time, until I found The Love Willows at the last minute, and technically half of that act is male
July 15, 200817 yr Even half a male would be better than no males at all lol - Here's hoping you can make a break through this time with a win ^_^ Kingdom of Shadow Production To celebrate making her way into the final, Mutya Buena tonight held a live concert in the Kingdom of Shadow to be broadcast across the world. Her set included three tracks from her album 'Real Girl' including 'Just a Little Bit', her single 'Real Girl' and, of course, her entry into BJSC8 'Strung Out'. The King of Shadow introduced her performance with this statement: "We are back! After the disappointment of not qualifying last year, I'd like to thank Mutya Buena and the Shadowan public for believing in us and helping to put us into the final of a BJ Song Contest for the third time. Most of all though I would like to thank those nations who supported us in Semi-Final 1, we really appreciate your votes and sincerely hope you have enjoyed the song as much as we have. I therefore dedicate this performance to all of you." Timeline: Just A Little Bit 0.11-3.32 Real Girl 3.32-7.01 Strung Out 7.01-10.52 Edited July 15, 200817 yr by brunoboi

July 17, 200817 yr The rumours about Pink considering to particiapte from Eledan turned out to be fake as her management officially denied it yesterday night. We have never received the invitations to participate in the contest fom EledanAt the same time EBJSCC (or simply EBJC) representative was quoted as saying: I don't know if eighth edition is be the successful contest for Eledan, we'll see it in less than a week. But speaking about the next one, EBJC received the confirmation from the management of one band with growing popularity that they will be taking part in the "Eledanð Finals" for BJSC IX The band still remains a secret. But the information will be revealed right after the final of the 8th edition of Buzzjack Song Contest.

Guessing at the BJSC X entry, I'm guessing they're not too unknown as they have an album out. Are they possibly an 'Understated' indie band?
