10/10 for me, one of my best episodes ever, definatley up there with Doomsday for me.

 

I loved the German Daleks haha. Brilliant!

I wasn't too sure how RTD can explain sending Rose and Jacqui back to the parallel world, yet he lets Mickey go off with Jack and Martha, though im guessing these will replace Tosh and Owen in Torchwood, maybe, that was my only major problem with the episode.

 

Other than that, how sad was Donna's exit, it was worse than Rose for me because Donna went back to being the character she was in the Xmas special, but what a powerful ending, complete with brilliant acting from all

 

Such a great episode and benefited from no spoilers, which was brilliant, and theres not much more to say except for great writing great direction and ghreat acting, all in all, probably the best finale so far

I really didn't like the endings, but overall a fantastic episode imo. I hated that Rose gets to go and live with the "Doctor" in the parallel universe, somehow that didn't really close the whole Rose/Doctor issue for me. I thought Donna's memory being wiped was so sad because she wanted to travel with him for so long and enjoyed it so much (arguably more than anyone else before her) and she's had to return home and none of it even happened for her.

 

The Earth being pulled was a bit lame too.

 

10/10 but not the best episode of the series.

Great episode, but towing the Earth back all the way across the Universe in less than 60 seconds :lol: I just hope they aren't going to play ignorance to the fact the Earth moved, and people just forget about it. It's part of Earth's history now and the consequences of that should continue through, rather than that BIG RESET button they pressed with the Master and the Toclafane.

But the Cybermen, where have they come from? :o The only Cybermen are from the parallel world, or were shoved off into the void. So either they popeed across because of the whole Daleks thing before the walls of reality closed off AGAIN, or they found convenient pocket sized holes from Rose's dimension cannon. Or are they going to be old school this Universe Cybermen?
