To celebrate hitting the 100th chart milestone of my personal chart, I have decided to do a countdown of the top 100 songs in my charts since I began them in August 2006. Since the start I have been keeping a record of all the songs that have charted and have devised a point system which allows me to work out the biggest songs.

So let's get cracking - numbers 100 all the way down to 76 :D

Ok so we kick off with numbers 100 to 91 where we find Mika with Relax, Take It Easy, a double A side with Lollipop, which incidently ended up at number 176. Mika appears again at 97 with Love Today, the second single taken from his album, Life In Cartoon Motion. I don't have great memories of the song as it caused me and my friend to have a huge argument where we didn't speak for a month (seriously...). Timbaland is at 99 and all of his singles taken from the Shock Value album have entered my top 10 which is nice. ^_^ Other notable mentions include Lily Allen who appears twice and has nearly all of her singles in the top 100, the only exception being Smile which is at number 124. Melanie C also appears as the only solo Spice Girl in the whole chart which is fitting really because she's the best one in my opinion. Kate Nash heads of the first ten songs with Foundations which annoyed me so much in the end that it dropped like a lead balloon from number 10 all the way down to number 31. Ah well.

(30, 23, 13, 10, 9, 10, 7, 10, 15, 17, 16, 22, 26, 29, 37) {14 wks}

89. Fascination - Alphabeat

(23, 14, 10, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 14, 17, 21, 32, 36, 37) {14 wks}

Into the top 80 we go then and at number 90 we find Robbie Williams with Lovelight, the only song of his to crack my top 10, though in a special retro chart next week I'll be charting She's Madonna so we'll see if that can do any better. We also have two songs which are still charting from Duffy and Rihanna which both made number 1 a few weeks back. Rihanna also enters at number 82 with Unfaithful which appeared on my first ever chart back in 2006! The Spice Girls enter at number 83 with their disappointing comeback , and are just ahead of Adele who is at 84 with Chasing Pavements. Her follow up single, Cold Shoulder is at 134 on the chart and it is looking unlikely that Hometown Glory will set the charts alight either.

80. Break The Ice - Britney Spears

(24, 21, 9, 3, 3, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 13, 36, 32, 34) {14 wks}

79. Chick Fit - All Saints

(39, 32, 17, 8, 3, 6, 6, 12, 20, 21, 21, 20, 24, 23, 26, 28, 31, 35, 36, 40) {20 wks}

78. The Way I Are - Timbaland feat. Keri Hilson

(36, 13, 4, 1, 1, 1, 5, 4, 7, 11, 25, 27, 31, 34) {14 wks}

77. LoveStoned/I Think She Knows - Justin Timberlake

(38, 33, 27, 21, 15, 9, 2, 4, 5, 5, 10, 9, 16, 26, 27, 34, 37) {17 wks}

76. Without You - The Feeling

(23, 12, 12, 9, 2, 1, 1, 2, 5, 9, 18, 25, 32, 40) {14 wks}

Britney Spears enters at number 80 with Break the Ice, the 3rd single from her amazing Blackout album. Rest assured that this isn't the last you'll see of Bit Bit in this countdown. All Saints are at 79 with Chick Fit which I found amazing but apparently the rest of the UK did not...I blame the cheap crappy video. Timbaland returns again at 78 with Justin at 77. LoveStoned is my favourite song from the FutureSex/LoveSounds album (with the exception of Losing My Way) but sadly was kept of the number 1 spot by Avril Lavigne last July. The Feeling finish off the group with Without You which is a lovely song with very meaningful lyrics...though it is quite bland compared to other songs on the Join With Us album.

Amazing! Most of those would be in my top 150 also! Its just a shame you got rid of 4 amazing songs so early, but i shouldn't complain. And only 2 songs that aren't great (both Mika songs), and even those made the top 30 of my chart, and Relax is #143 on my 2008 chart out of about 300.

Good musical taste :D

Thanks for the comment Harve! Glad to see you like so many of them :D Sorry about the 4 amazing songs but there'll be more to come from All Saints, Evanescence and Jamelia so not to worry ^_^

I'll comment when this is completed.

Goodness knows what I'm going to do when I celebrate my 500th PC #1 after 24 years +.

75. American Boy - Estelle feat. Kanye West

74. Hold On - KT Tunstall

73. Walk This Way - Girls Aloud vs Sugababes

(40, 38, 30, 28, 20, 11, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 14, 20, 25, 26, 27, 30, 32, 34, 35) {20 wks}

71. Soulmate - Natasha Bedingfield

(34, 28, 22, 13, 10, 4, 5, 6, 3, 8, 10, 15, 19, 30, 27, 32, 37) {17 wks}

Ok so we're now into the top 75 which is a little bit exciting. Estelle starts us off with American Boy which is a fantastic tune and one of my favourites of 2008 so far. Shame No Substitute Love doesn't have what it takes to continue her success. Another of my favourite songs in the group is Valerie which is much better than the original in my opinion. Not really sure how KT got top 3, must have liked it more back in the day :lol: Love Soulmate as well, such a beautiful records! :wub: At number 73 we have the 2007 Comic Relief song...which was interesting.

70. Never Be Lonely -The Feeling

(28, 19, 20, 15, 6, 4, 5, 5, 9, 12, 15, 23, 22, 27, 32, 35, 39, 38, 38, 33, 35) {21 wks}

69. Wake Up Call - Maroon 5

(38, 28, 23, 21, 12, 10, 8, 4, 1, 3, 2, 8, 7, 19, 30, 38) {16 wks}

68. Tell Me - P Diddy feat. Christina Aguilera

(36, 34, 28, 20, 11, 14, 18, 17, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 14, 18, 21, 25, 26, 30, 32, 38, 40) {22 wks}

67. Me And My Imagination - Sophie Ellis-Bextor

(40, 36, 26, 23, 18, 14, 11, 10, 8, 10, 9, 12, 14, 13, 14, 19, 30, 33, 33, 37) {20 wks}

66. Black And Gold - Sam Sparro

(19, 8, 4, 5, 5, 3, 3, 6, 7, 10, 14, 20, 23, 37) {14 wks} (still charting)

At number 70 we have The Feeling, who are still one of my favourite bands despite a quite poor follow up album to the amazing Twelve Stops And Home. On the other hand, Maroon 5 who are at 69 (hehe) have, in my opinion, made one of the best albums of the last year with their follow up album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Wake Up Call became their first number 1 on my chart thanks to a terrific video. At number 68 are P Diddy and Christina. This is song is one of two songs in the top 100 that didn't even make the top 10. The song peaked at number 11 but stayed on my chart for a whopping 22 weeks :o Sophie enters at number 67 with Me and My Imagination and one of my favourite songs of the year so far, Black and Gold enters at number 66. I have to agree with one of Jester/Matt's comments in the chart thread yesterday (see I do read it even if I don't post :P ) I think this song will become a classic in years to come...assuming the radios don't kill it beforehand.

65. Apologize - Timbaland feat. OneRepublic

(32, 27, 19, 11, 3, 4, 7, 8, 7, 8, 11, 11, 12, 18, 27, 34, 38, 37) {18 wks}

64. What Goes Around/Comes Around - Justin Timberlake

(38, 34, 25, 19, 14, 14, 16, 19, 16, 16, 16, 18, 16, 13, 16, 17, 18, 24, 24, 27, 33) {21 wks}

63. Better In Time - Leona Lewis

(29, 19, 13, 6, 4, 2, 2, 9, 7, 7, 10, 10, 16, 23, 31, 38, 40) {17 wks}

62. Mercy - Duffy

(30, 18, 11, 7, 5, 2, 2, 2, 4, 6, 7, 11, 19, 27, 34, 39) {16 wks}

61. Pumpkin Soup - Kate Nash

(20, 21, 17, 7, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 10, 10, 12, 15, 24, 30, 36, 39) {17 wks}

In at number 65 we have Timbaland with OneRepublic. I love this song now and it was down to this song that I discovered the sheer brilliance of OneRepublic :wub: Wish I'd had it at number 1 now...ah well Stop and Stare made up for that. Next is Justin Timberlake again - this song was the other song in the top 100 that didn't actually make the top 10 (not sure why) but stayed around foreverrr. At 63 is the amazing Leona Lewis with Better In Time which was kept off the top spot back in April by none other than...yep you guessed it OneRepublic. Duffy once again appears at number 62 - another song held off the number 1 spot by Stop and Stare :lol: Rounding off the group is Kate Nash with Pumpkin Soup which is one of my favourites off of her pretty poor debut album.

60. Ain't No Other Man - Christina Aguilera

(3, 2, 4, 7, 7, 11, 14, 10, 14, 16, 13, 19, 24, 25, 25, 29, 38) {17 wks}

59. Can’t Speak French - Girls Aloud

(36, 27, 19, 10, 8, 5, 6, 5, 5, 6, 5, 10, 13, 12, 18, 32, 40) {17 wks}

58. Makes Me Wonder - Maroon 5

(31, 24, 15, 8, 6, 5, 6, 4, 5, 10, 12, 10, 16, 14, 21, 29, 40) {17 wks}

57. Change - Sugababes

(32, 23, 17, 8, 7, 3, 2, 2, 2, 3, 4, 8, 11, 26, 32, 32, 38) {17 wks}

56. Work [Freemasons Remix] - Kelly Rowland

(31, 19, 9, 3, 2, 6, 5, 6, 9, 7, 8, 9, 14, 22, 25, 36, 36) {16 wks}

My favourite female artist enters the chart at number 60. Christina Aguilera has never managed to get a number 1 single on my chart yet (though perhaps if I'd have been doing my chart during the Stripped era we may have had a different story...) and Ain't No Other Man was kept off the number 1 position by Justin Timberlake's SexyBack back in August 2006. Girls Aloud return at number 59 with the worst performing of their solo singles so far. Maroon 5 are at number 58 with their great comeback single, Makes Me Wonder (Adam Levine looked soooo good in that video didn't he??). Sugababes are at number 57 with Change, which was probably not a great single choice but is still one of my favourites from their Change album. Kelly Rowland reappears at number 56 with Work which was given a great remix by Beyonce's friends the Freemason to earn it a number 2 spot on my chart.

55. Leave Me Alone (I’m Lonely) - Pink

(39, 32, 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 6, 6, 11, 17, 18, 20, 21, 20, 24, 25, 27, 28, 26, 24, 27, 35) {23 wks}

54. 2 Hearts - Kylie Minogue

(14, 7, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 5, 5, 7, 8, 11, 14, 34, 38, 33, 38, 40) {18 wks}

53. My Love - Justin Timberlake

(30, 21, 16, 6, 6, 8, 9, 10, 5, 5, 9, 11, 13, 14, 23, 24, 28, 35) {18 wks}

52. Déjà vu - Beyonce

(28, 9, 6, 2, 2, 3, 6, 6, 7, 10, 11, 17, 22, 20, 24, 26, 31, 38) {18 wks}

51. I Don’t Need A Man - Pussycat Dolls

In at number 55 we find Pink with the 5th single to be taken from her AMAZING I'm Not Dead album. This song did exceptionally well in my chart, staying in the top 40 for a whopping 23 weeks. Kylie enters the chart at 54 with 2 Hearts and Wow is still set to appear though her 3rd single In My Arms didn't quite make the top 100. At 53 we have Mr JT again with My Love, a surprising choice for a 2nd single I thought but I loved it so didn't care too much. The next two singles are both from summer 2006 and both reached number 2, which up till now is the PCD's highest chart position.
