This week it's all change at the top as The Rascals move to number one in their fourth week on the chart. Straight in at #2 and a strong contender for #1 next week is The Verve with their first single for 11 years. After a brilliant performance at Glastonbury this year, this looks set to do the business when it's released in August from their forthcoming album "Forth". Moving up 10 places to this week's #3 are The Kills with their fourth Top 10 hit of the year. (Have you spotted the link between the Top 3 this week?). The Verve are also at #5 with their non-album free download Mover. Further down the chart, new entries come from Dirty Pretty Things and their Jam-tastic single at #12, Seth Lakeman at #18 (who I will be seeing at Beautiful Days this summer) and The Wombats at #19.
