it's all down to Rivandia (Jonny), Frahliso (Damon) and Botanikka (Addy!) to determine the winner...the points are very close across the board this time around

 

so please please please can those 3 countries send in their votes by 11.59pm tonight as it will make the results as accurate as possible...I've already pm'd them but if anyone else fancies giving it a go, be my guest :heehee: their votes could help your country to victory!

Botanikka wont sent their votes since the country is not participating in final and national TV wont broadcast the final night show.

don't know :( he has got another 6 hours but I don't expect to see anymore votes come in, which would be a shame as they literally could decide the winner, yes even you Addy! could decide the winner if your public chose to vote

 

I hear FSR Rontvia has set up a webcast for the contest, so that all Botanikkans and any other country can watch the contest live tomorrow night :kink: there's no reason not to vote now :lol:

Maybe the mess with Ace Of Base and hence not qualifying disappointed Botanikka's residents. :(

I just don't get people wanting to pull out of the contest/not bother voting because of a bad result...the point of this contest for me is to find good new music, when my own country does well its a bonus

 

I flopped in the first two contests and this one but I certainly wouldn't pull out and would always vote still if I missed the final

I totally agree with this attitude. Plus I would be a bit hacked off if I never voted and the song I really liked just got beat by a song I thought was awful, and I could have made a difference.....

 

I've discovered 2 or 3 great songs that I otherwise would never have bothered listening to in the last couple of competitions, and surely that is the real point of the competition.

 

Winning it or doing well is just a bonus. Whilst I think it is a greater achievement doing well with the more obscurer the artist/song.

same here, Botanikka are part of the contest and should be part of the voting too, it was Addy's votes that helped to choose the semi-finalists so he really should vote in the final, same with Damon and Jonny :smoke:

 

despite winning with Sara Bareilles and coming 3rd with Maria Haukaas Storeng, I'd say my proudest result was 4th/5th (depending on the rules you look at) in BJSC6 with Untouched's Smack Me, as that song was a completely random song that I stumbled across that is never likely to get a release let alone chart anywhere in the world, so I was chuffed when that went top 5 :wub:

I'd only pull out if the number of well known songs was beyond my unknown limit :lol: There's only a couple this time that made me go meh :lol: and on the whole I let album tracks pass me by fine. It's not exactly people's faults if I have the album and have heard something loads of time, as there will be others who haven't.

 

I'd never pull out due to a naff result, even after the disappointment of Nicol and Saving Jane (should have done better but meh) I'm still standing by my unknown policy, and will do in 9. Might try something different in 10 :kink: (i.e. battle of my past acts)
