It is hard to believe that it was 20 years ago that Kylie Minogue released her first US single here with "I Should Be So Lucky". 20 years later she releases in one of her better records in awhile with "The One" which should have been the first single to be released off her most recent album after hearing it for the first time.

To be fair, I think this chart is much better than recent weeks ...

Not a bad start this week bar Chris Brown, but if you dont want to listen to the chart check out the podcast least its only 15 minutes of your life wasted and you get the cut down version of the chart  less reggie and less boring

Least we've had some biggish falls, just need september and the like of estelle and flo-rida to drop and ill be very happy

Really? I've not listened to the bottom half for ages but this seems one of the worst. I think i'm going to switch over to the music channels, might be a bit more variety, if i can find a station that isn't playing last weeks top 40 :P

5 new entries is better than usual this week though. :o And at least this week he doesn't get the chance to fuel his obsession with 'Love In This Club' for the upteenth week.

Though journalistic shorthand often finds Nickelback dubbed "the Canadian Creed", the band found success on its own terms right from the start with the 2000 debut album THE STATE. It may be true that the band's heavy guitars, pounding drums, and dramatic vocals are in line with the Creed approach, but like that band, Nickelback is equally indebted to the heavy metal and hard rock heroes of the '70s. As with many other 21st century heavy rockers, though, Nickelback fits catchy pop sensibilities into their sonic onslaught, ensuring as enthusiastic a reception from radio as they receive from their rabid fanbase. - HMV

Awww leave September alone. :( I want her to stay around, as judging by the way her UK label have marketed her this will be her only hit and I want to savour it. :(

Well, this is good record from her but I'm worried that Rihanna is starting to become overated since she has worked non-stop since "Pon De Replay" was released in '05
