HATS off to Oirish rockers THE SCRIPT for landing No3 in the charts — jumping a massive 27 places in a week.

 

Their single The Man Who Can’t Be Moved is on the radio non-stop.

 

Sadly KID ROCK is No1 — an American redneck I fail to understand.

 

The Script lads have been performing at MTV Asia and bumped into LEONA LEWIS — pictured with frontman DANNY O’DONOGHUE — who agreed to record with them.

 

That combo sounds like a sure-fire chart No1 for all pop lovers.

I love The Script. Very talented guys and their new single is very good. Will be buying their new album.

 

Hope the do work with Leona in the future. It could sound very good.

The Script to write track for Leona Lewis

Irish band The Script have agreed to write a track for Leona Lewis's second album.

 

Frontman Danny O'Donoghue discussed the project with the X Factor winner when they met at the MTV Malaysian Music Awards recently.

 

O'Donoghue told the Daily Star: "She turned around to us and said, 'I'm mad into your music'. We were like, 'f***ing hell', because I am like a superfan of hers. I know she came off a reality show and maybe it is not the most admirable thing to do but she is amazing."

 

The singer added that he would like Lewis to show off more of her personality on her next LP, which is currently scheduled to be released next year.

 

"I would love to get into her head a little bit. When we sit down to write with people we really get to know them and their strengths," he explained. "She is amazing and I think the best is yet to come. I hope we can be the ones to pull it out."

I've gotten into The Script now, so I'm looking forward to this. I hope it is a single.

this is great news! the script are a great new talent and well, leona is already amazing as it is....this could be really great

So she is recording new songs? I hope this is true.

I could think of other bands id want Leona to record with before The Script.

I would LOVE to see Leona team up with Ryan Tedder (Or even OneRepublic as a Band) for a song :wub:

Sounds like a future No.1 in the making.
