they do release another track before the album! and let's wait for the video aswell, you know those thinks can make or break a song!

 

Apparently not now, :o I've read today, I think it was either on popjustice or their official forum that the single is released 6th October and the album follows 2 weeks later on the 20th October.

 

It says on their MySpace the album is out in October :o

Apart from the amazing Keisha part its absolute $h!t. Their voices are REALLY good though :o

After their last two singles, which I think were actually good, missed the top 10, they needed something really strong as a comeback to get them back in the top 5 or at least top 10. At the moment I don't think this is the track to do that, it seems like some kind of novelty B-side. :mellow:

That´s the problem with rushing a new album every year. They should take their time to produce decent material, like serious artists do, without caring about the year calendar...

Not really relevant at all. The space between "Angels With Dirty Faces" and "Three" was only about a year...

 

"Three" was a pretty bad album i thought, but the singles were great. Much better than this new era.

They may have missed the top 10, but they were still 2 of the biggest selling singles of their career......

 

but what it comes down too is this track is just WEAK ;\ and it is nothing like the amazing lead single material we usually get.. i can see it going top 15/20 at best from the fanbase =[

I disagree completely. I think this will be HUGE. I really do. Its c**p but for some reason I can see loads of people going "omg that advert" and downloading it.

It's an absolutely terrible lead single, and it makes it even more the worser since I hate that Boots advert.

 

But you have to remember that this advert is played a lot every single day the moment and it's audience is huge, and just look how many singles have gone into the chart so far this year because of adverts. If people hear the advert and then hear the song on the Radio, and see that there's not much difference at all they'll buy it imo. So I think it's a good marketing ploy tbh.

Seriously someone needs to start a petition to scrap this single and make whatever is planned for 2nd release to be put first.

it will be a top 5 hit, there's no doubt about that...it will have huge appeal to older audiences and people who like the advert

:lol: They never work. I'd sign though, better yet, get them to make this a B-Side, this isn't even good enough to be on the album to be honest.

The original was by Ernie K-Doe, originally recorded in 1970, it only made No43 despite all the promo on the Boots advert. This version is even worse, and at first looks like they're taking the pi** when it's serious.
