S Club 8 were awful, none of their songs were remotely good and haven't aged well AT ALL.

 

I'm glad The Saturdays look set to have success with 'Up'! They deserve to, it's a fantastic pop song and better than Sugababes and Girls Aloud's new lead singles imo!

get this.... the MAJORITY of the record buying public do not like manufactured bimbo pop, and has been pointed out on many occassions (but it still doesnt sink in <_< ) they are no competition for girls aloud or the sugababes. SO FAR the saturdays have NOT lived up to the hype and are quite rightly percieved as 'just another money making enterprise for some old bloke'... lol. wether the saturdays WILL develop into something more credible, only time will tell (but ill not be holding my breath!), but so far the objective amongst us have seen/heard/bought the t shirt, all before and cannot see the saturdays lasting.

 

How hilarious that 'Don't Call This Love' got intense TV promotion and videoplay and had an X Factor performance yet 'Up' which has had hardly any hype is set to chart higher :wub:

Hardly... the song was barely promoted, the was only a couple of performances for the song! The biggest being the nickelodeon awards! If it was the most hyped thing out there surely they would of been on some bigger shows?
