'Monster' is taken from The Automatic's hotly anticipated debut album 'Not Accepted Anywhere', which was prduced by Steve Harris (U2, Kaiser Chiefs) and Richard Jackson (Super Furry Animals, The Boyfriends) in Liverpool, Cardiff and Lincoln. - HMV track listing 1. June 4, 200619 yr An absolute great tune!. I'm hoping that this charts high next week as it deserves to do so.
June 4, 200619 yr one of my songs of the year  i think it could sneak into the top 10 next week... B)
June 8, 200619 yr Am I the only one that thinks The Automatic are a bunch of muppets? Sorry, but Monster is devoid of all lyrical talent. My 4 year old 2nd cousin could gurgle more indepth and meaningful words, and even if they didn't it would be a damn sight funnier. And the screechy ADD-stricken keyboardist Penny, does my head in.. my theory is that they house him in a little tiny box, and before each gig, take him out, insert a giant ACME brass key into his back, wind him up like Tick-Tock out of Return to Oz and just let him go wild and free on stage. I will prove my theory right, oh yes. I will prove my theory right.

June 8, 200619 yr Through no fault of my own I have seen them about 3 times now... Always as support.
June 8, 200619 yr Well I'm glad there is someone else who doesn't like them much... When they supported OB I thought all their songs sounded the same but Raoul was ok and I bought that single...
June 12, 200619 yr No.. not even that song. Do you know about the time the lead singer phoned Preston up at the studio? I mearly peed myself when Simon told me.
