I haven't had to go through many semis to be honest...only Maria & Mira, Natasha Bedingfield and Sanna had to get through semis

 

in some of the earlier contests there wasn't a semi-final and in two of them I was pre-qualified as I was the host :heehee:

You always seem to come up with a very good song though that does really well, and even when it's a flop it's a very unique song that people would obviously have divided opinion on.

 

I don't know how you do it to be honest, you must have some magic bag full of amazing songs or something. :P

it had a few fans, I think 10 people voted for it in the end, I did and do still love Driving and it was a bit different for FSR Rontvia so I'm glad I took a risk as I was interested how well it would go down...for me, introducing one or two people to a song they love is why I enter this contest, so I know RabbitFurCoat (Mark/Utopia) liked Driving, and I'm glad you did too Brunoboi, that was my main aim achieved then :D

that's very kind of you to say :D I listen to a lot of unknown music as well as mainstream music, so rather than a 'magic bag' I have a 'magic iTunes' :heehee:

 

I'd rather have a song that divides opinion than something safe and boring, although Sanna I suppose was quite safe -_-

 

as I said to someone else once before, if anyone's ever stuck for songs, have a browse at other countries charts and you'll be surprised at what hidden gems you can find :heart: most of my songs are from Scandinavia and I generally find them on their respective countries iTunes charts...

I have my song for the next contest. Some already know as I've been debating entering it for many contests (holding it back because it was unknown and people didn't seem fond of it). But I'm throwing caution to the wind and entering it. :D
