Same strategy as Coldplay with Violet Hill!!! I can see this being a massive sucess!!!!

 

Well, the new track is very chill out... People who find songs like White Flag and Thank You "boring", will find this even worst, cause the song doens´t even have beats!!!! But remember the new track is not the lead single from the album. Just like Coldplay, she´s coming with 2 simultaneous song, and the lead single will NOT be given for free, obviously to generate more sales on itunes, and a big chart hit. I predict the new single will be more commercial, like White Flag or Here With Me... But the new song has just been played for the first time at Virgin Radio, and the album announced on the Sun... Mammoth promo coming in the next months!

This album will be huge. I'll predict it'll be the UK No.1 album this Christmas, with huge sales in the run-up. It won't be No.1 right through from Nov. 10th though as surely The Killers will knock her off temporarily in late November.

Having just listened to it Look No Further is a stunning chill out ballad track. As a comeback it it is certainly better than the forthcoming releases by P!nk, Sugababes & Anastacia which surprises me as I normally find Dido boring, but the Brian Eno production makes it musically superior soundwise to her two coffee table dull sounding albums.

The best time to release a new album (although I don't like her at all). this will be a big seller.

i have never been a fan of dido but i downloaded this track and i really like it so i will get some of her previous stuff and buy her album :D

She is my fav recording artist ever! :wub:

 

I don't know much about her life or all the gossip, I just love her voice more than everything else, and I f***ing can't wait for her album :wub:

Look No Further is really good. If this is the quality of the rest of the album, then she should do very well!

Been waiting for a long time for her new material, I'm always playing her albums, Life For Rent is my all time favourite album.

I have to admit it didn't make a strong first impression on me, either - but fortunately it will not be the first single.

 

ISTM they probably decided to give away the weakest track on the album (I hope it is, anyway)...
