October 20, 200816 yr  I am a massive Spurs fan but at the moment i just have to laugh along with you lot at them, if i didn't i'd cry  Seriously, we r sh*t. Ramos needs to stop playing 4-5-1 & go with 4-4-2 with Bent & Campbell up front. With Bale & Dawson now out with Liverpool & Arsenal to come i thinks we are pretty much screwed :( Edited October 20, 200816 yr by TheycallmeChrisi

Ramos needs to stop playing 4-5-1 & go with 4-4-2 with Bent & Campbell up front. With Bale & Dawson now out with Liverpool & Arsenal to come i thinks we are pretty much screwed :( Seriously mate if you don't beat Bolton then it's gonna take something spectacular to get you out of trouble! If you sack Ramos that'll cost you £5m and if whoever comes in after doesn't do the job then you're gonna lose a hell of a lot more!
October 20, 200816 yr Just to show how bad it is - they could end up playing Southend next year. When they spent £77 million, who thought that could ever happen outside the cups?
October 24, 200816 yr Q - Why was Jaunde Ramos upset with his speeding conviction? A - It meant his licence had more points than the team he manages.
October 24, 200816 yr Anyone see them play last night? They were awful. Really, really poor. They've got absolutely no confidence whatsoever, and nothing less than 3 points against Bolton will almost certainly see Ramos get the sack. Tbh if they perform against Bolton like they have been recently against Stoke and that random European team last night I don't hold out much hope for them. I also feel sorry for whoever the manager after Ramos is. Whoever it is has the mammoth task of lifting team spirits and getting them playing as a team. I read somewhere that Ramos has only had 10 wins since he took over last season, so in honesty i'm surprised he's lasted this long Q - Why was Jaunde Ramos upset with his speeding conviction? A - It meant his licence had more points than the team he manages. Harsh!
October 24, 200816 yr Q - What does a Spurs do after he sees his team win? A - Turns off the XBox I agree, unfortunately he'll go if they don't beat Bolton but seriously who can turn THAT mess around? They can't buy until January and I'm sure not even the greatest motivator ever can get the current crop going!
October 24, 200816 yr Hmm I don't even think he'll go if they geat beat by Bolton. I don't think you can pinpoint the current plight of Spurs ALL on Ramos. That technical director and Levy definitely have to take as much blame, as well as the players themselves. Spurs (and their fans) were expecting to be challangeing for Champions League football this season, but they're never going to if they don't play like a team. For me, they've got too many 'it' lads in their squad, and this is a major reason why they're failing - they're putting in little effort, collecting their wage slip, and expecting success to come so easily. For me Woodgate needs to give the squad a whole talking to. To be fair though, Udinese are a good team. I wasn't suprised in the slightest they beat Spurs, as they are a really good team.
October 24, 200816 yr For me Woodgate needs to give the squad a whole talking to. On that note: ‘One million per cent we are in a relegation battle. I have seen it before at Leeds, and Leeds had a better team than we have got right now Way to lift the team's spirits, Woody. No the wonder they're playing like that if he's coming out to the national press and saying how shit the team is. Not exactly a morale-booster is it?

Not exactly a morale-booster is it? For me that's exactly what he needed to come out and say. I still believe Spurs are too good to go down. but we're almost 10 games into the season or something and they're in the bottom 3? So he's gotta be realisitic. They are in a relegation battle at the moment, and the sooner the Spurs players realise that, the more likely they are to pull their fingers out and rise up the table.

Good point, but it can also have the adverse effect (which it seems to be having) where it starts affecting the players and confidence levels plummet. Apart from that, do they have many hard-working players in their squad atm, like ones who will be well up for a relegation fight and will give 110% to try and lift the team out of their current situation? Because tbh based on the evidence of the past few games they've played and what i've seen it doesn't look like it
October 24, 200816 yr They don't have a leader any more. Robbie Keane was so important to them, but now they have no one, there's only really Woodgate yet Jenas is captain. I know they have King but he can't play two games in a row or more than once a week so he makes pretty much sod all difference anyway! Whilst I do feel it's far from being all Ramos' fault he has to take a large share of the blame, he's the most tactically inconsistant manager I've ever seen. They're not going to have any kind of understanding when if they play 3 formations a game and anything from 3-7 lineup changes are made EVERY game!
October 25, 200816 yr Spurs won't sack Ramos, as that would be admitting they got rid of a good manager in Jol (who's top of the Bundesliga with Hamburg ironically ^_^) And half the squad at the moment will have half an eye on January hoping another club will come and save them. Only 1 team in the history of the PL have had this number of points at this stage and survived. *Pulls chain*
October 25, 200816 yr ITS OFFICIAL Tottenham Hotspur have sacked coach Jaunde Ramos, the club has said. Spurs have also parted company with sporting director Damien Comolli.
October 25, 200816 yr  Gus Poyet has gone too. They couldn't have picked a worse time to do it  right before a game they could win  which they will now lose. Oh big  to Daniel Levy Now unlike Spurs I have to get ready for Wembley now :kink: for the NFL game
October 25, 200816 yr  How bizarre, I actually fancied them to beat Bolton, not so sure now
October 25, 200816 yr The club also confirmed that Portsmouth have agreed to allow Harry Redknapp to talk to Tottenham about the vacancy. --- Why would he do that?! Good appointment if he did though!
October 26, 200816 yr God, what a turn for the books. Levy is absolutely f***in stupid, but if they get Harry then it's a good appointment indeed. I hope they dont however... Ramos will go the Athletico Madrid now.
October 26, 200816 yr Spurs have already got Redknapp apparently, SSN had a phone interview with him and he said he's the new manager, and he'll be at the Spurs/Bolton game tomorrow.
October 26, 200816 yr Spurs have already got Redknapp apparently, SSN had a phone interview with him and he said he's the new manager, and he'll be at the Spurs/Bolton game tomorrow. I've just read it too. I can see why, it's obvious Redknapp wants a shot at a bit club, but I fear this is the wrong move for him... at the wrong club too. £5m compensation package for Pompey though. God Levy must have wasted so much money over the past year on hiring and sacking managers. Absolutel complete idiot.
