I only look at them on Tuesday and Friday really, unless I really want to track the progress of a particular song

 

but keep it to everyday as I know a lot of members use this forum solely to look at the mids

I have no intentionally to post it twice a week, or whatever, I just wanted members attitudes towards the mid chart, based on the poll it seems the majority are happy with the way things are.

Tuesday definitely, I always pop in around 11am to have a looksee. I usually don't look again until Friday.

 

Up to you...might be worth doing daily ones in a week where there's a battle, but that doesn't happen so often.

I have to say - as often as possible, though the iTunes chart is a decent indicator itself, given that it comprises 2/3 to 3/4 of the chart sales each week.

But its a bit boring knowning that when you look on Wednesday there is only a smidgin' of difference (if any) from Tuesday. At least with a day's rest there is an element of 'surprise'.

I think twice is plenty. Tuesday and Thursday preferably.

I think like someone was asying in a previous thread, I don't actually care about the singles chart anymore, and I've been an avid fan since about the mid to late 90's and i find the whole 4-5 new entries week in week out so damn boring, I didnt want the chart slowed down to the point where record are allowed to stay in the chart for 30 weeks and then the whole secnd single artists who can't break the top 40 for the firsty singles,

 

The mids n friday always look like the chart to some extent so I 'd say a tuesday and thursday defintly

News is news whatever it happens to be about whether its about war, politics or the music charts, I would argue that the point is the same. To not want an update because it might be "boring" is ridiculous. If you don't like then do as the majority of people say and don't read it, in the same way you wouldn't buy a newspaper.

I personally check it once a week, but I go with the majority, for the twice a week update :rolleyes: xox.

please not...it's interesting to have info and datas as much as you can.

Everyday. I'd also like Saturday too. It makes the chart more interesting, especially when it changes a lot over the course of a day.

I have stopped looking at the midweeks this week because its just the same almost everyday plus i like to from now on listen on Sunday and then look at the thread so thats what i'll do and another i quit listening to Radio 1 eventhough as much as i like Fearnne & Reggie they talk alot, get things wrong and skip tracks so i'm going back to Hit 40 uk :D

I'd be happy with it twice a week on Tuesday and Friday, but I follow the line of thought that if you don't post it every day, people will go elsewhere. You posted earlier in this thread seemingly questioning whether people would be bothered or not to look elsewhere for the info; I'm pretty sure they would!

 

Also, as others have said - if some people don't want to look at the thread every day, no-one's forcing them to :P

Every day and like some other posters have said, if people dont want them as often then they dont have to look at the mids thread!!

 

I take back what i said about not getting involved with the midweeks i just couldn't take the pressure of waiting :(

its the main reason i signed up became a member here so all weeeeek pls lol

I can't be the only one who sees the irony...

 

In another thread, nearly everyone complains about the slowness of the chart - yet here the same people are confirming they want to see as many midweek figures as possible... :)
