I do rather like the tracklisting  and MEGA :o Christian Falk & Robyn being added

oh :o good for Katy Perry! haven't seen two solo songs from one artist for years...

no Britney, Take That, Beyonce, Leona, Alesha but that was to be expected...glad to see Robyn, I won't have to buy the CD single now!

Girls Aloud and Sugababes had two songs on Now 66 in 2007. They both had Walk This Way as well as I Think We're Alone Now and Easy respectively

Edit - just noticed you said solo, making my point irrelevant

I wasn't expecting to see MIA, but Leon Jackson and Leona Lewis missing is a major surprise

I'm not overly surprised at Oasis missing out...I don't think Go Let It Out or The Hindu Times never made a Now album...Lyla was lucky

 yep, I wonder who the last one was...Robbie Williams maybe?

Hi, didn't realise there was a thread on this... Great tracklist, going on my Christmas list for sure

By the way, it always surprises me what new releases they choose to put on the Now albums. Does anyone know what the biggest pre-release flop on a Now album was? Has anything ever been on one that missed the chart totally?

Geri Halliwell on Now 44 (Mi Chico Latino and Lift Me Up). I think that was the latest one

The Feeling - Turn It Up

But perhaps the record company didn't want to lose sales by having Leona, Britney, Beyonce, Alesha, Christina etc... on there! Because Britney isn't PHYSICALLY released until 24th same with Take That! So happy bout Robyn though

didn't Steps have When I Said Goodbye and Deeper Shade Of Blue on Now 46?

The Feeling - Turn It Up

Oh my god, I forgot about that. What the hell happened to The Feeling? I love them, but it seems like no-one else does anymore except Radio 2...

I do find it quite interesting that the two Katy Perry tracks are both on the same disc, you might have thought they'd have split them up :o

Meh, I guess loads of people will do the same, and the song will suffer in the chart

I already gave the song a sale last year when I downloaded the original Christian Falk version from iTunes a while back, so I've got nothing to feel guilty about :P

and if anything it will boost the song because of the 'Now cherry picking effect'

usually, at least 20 songs from the Now albums are cherry picked enough to go back to the iTunes top 100...

I don't think Robyn needs to worry really, if it's destined to be a hit it will be regardless...Spiller still managed to beat Victoria Beckham despite appearing on Now 46 before its release

and I really don't have money to waste to buy a CD single that comes out a week after the Now album which I will have already bought, it would be completely pointless

The Robyn song is also the first track on the new Ministry Of Sound compilation, although it's one of the album only tracks on iTunes...I'm still hopeful that the song will go top ten though even despite all these compilation appearances
