I can understand why they've pushed it back; there are some huge releases in the next few weeks and they must be worried that it'll lose its steam in the meantime. I'm guessing that by the time it comes out it'll be in the lower end of the top ten/higher end of the teens. I think she'll do some promotion around 10th April in hopes that a spurt of downloads and physical sales will push her to number one.

Either way, she's now number three on iTunes and looks set to overtake Taylor before long. Only problem is, is The Saturdays will be moving up throughout the course of today and tomorrow and will probably push it back down by one.

I'm excited to see where she's going to chart today, however! It's going to be very close between herself and T.I.

OVER 2 MILLION ON A SUNDAY

I think releasing the physical for this will end up like the "Single Ladies" release, in that it wont have any effect. I think it's probably close to peaking over the next week or so and it will be sliding down the charts by mid-April.
True, I hope. But if they had brought it forward, there may have been a chance at number 1...
As long as she does a fair amount of promotion around the time of release, she can still make it. If she truly is that set on getting number one in the UK (she cried when Just Dance got it) then she'd promote it properly in early April.

No WAY will this peak in the next week

It's only just started getting proper radio and video play. It's got about 3 or 4 weeks before we'll see it peak in sales. Clubs are still orgasming over Just Dance.

In sales, maybe, but I'm just getting the feeling that it will be a big #3. The top end of the chart will be quite crowded with all of these new releases over the next few weeks but "Poker Face" has been available all this time. I don't think it will get a huge spike in sales but it'll consistently sell about 30-35k for the next few weeks.

I hope I'm wrong though, it totally deserves to be a second #1 for her. I just don't think a physical will be worth releasing in 6 weeks time.

Actually scrap what I said I agree with you.

I think it'll be annoyingly stuck at #3 for like 5 weeks or so :o

Next week it'll drop to four or five as two more new overly hyped tracks squeeze into the top three but it should climb again the week after. :)
I think this could peak within the top 2 when all the Comic Relief stuff is out of the way, hopefully anyway.

I'm sure it will. I think next week it will fall to #5 because of The Saturdays and Flo Rida and maybe climb to #4 or stay at #5 the following week.

Me too. I think it's too high too early to go to number one. But I think it will do a Use Somebody and get to #2.

Totally different songs I know

In4merz is the official street team for Lady GaGa.

We have set up a competition to give one lucky winner a copy of her new single 'Poker Face' before it is released to the public on April the 13th. As well as that the winner will receive a Lady Gaga T-shirt.

Seven runners up will win a copy of Lady GaGa's single 'Just Dance'

Head on over to www.in4merz.com for more details.

Thank you and good luck!

Just heard 'Poker Face' on Galaxy....don't think its a scratch on 'lets Dance' personally but still really loving it....anyone got the album? In two minds on whether I should get it or not?
The album is amazing! You should really get it if you like both 'Just Dance' and 'Poker Face' :D.
Yes, definitely get the album. The funny thing is, Poker Face convinced me to get it... I thought Just Dance was just OK at first, and love that now!
I love the entire CD. It is one of the best CDs I have gotten in a long time where I like every single song.
The way I started to like Lady GaGa was when I saw her on loads of our personal charts, so I decided to listen to her.
