December 7, 2025Dec 7 Return date is apparently 10th January with the next block called Learning Curve. I do wonder if Ngozi will survive after the cliffhanger we were left on in September!
January 31Jan 31 Incredibly powerful episode today exploring the aftermath of Siobhan's attack, it really got to me a couple of times. I really like how this arc is progressing, we've got so much going on with all of the stories.

Melanie Hill is such a good actress so I don’t doubt that she’ll put in a fab performance either!
March 8Mar 8 I cannot get over how strong this block of episodes is. Really great character driven stories and the idea to bring in the CQC element is showing some more depth. The cast is very strong right now too! I do wonder if the hospital will end up closing which will feed into the move to Wales that's supposed to happen next year. Whatever happens, it's going in strong to its 40th anniversary later this year.
March 8Mar 8 Echoing all of the above there Lewis! Melanie Hill is brilliant in this and showcasing what an actress she is. Really liking the new additions to the cast too and like you say the CQC involvement to this series has added something unique and made the series feel more tense. I think the cast is pretty strong and tight my only niggle this block of episodes is that my fellow Geordie Nicole hasn’t had a lot to do yet so I’m hoping we see more of her! I’ve always loved Casualty but it does feel very strong at the moment a rare show where there isn’t a real weak link amongst the cast and I don’t just watch out of habit as can be the case with long running shows and the soaps, like I actively look forward to each episode!
March 21Mar 21 For a moment there I thought Cam was a goner!This is on a break now until 11th April 🥲
April 18Apr 18 A sad end to a fantastic block of episodes today. The way it just kept flipping between Kim or Faith was gripping. The next block is 'Lethal Legacy' and was subtly teased in the episode today as a "mystery virus" takes over Holby; kind of wild to do it post-COVID but it might work well if done right, they're certainly on a high right now with their story-telling.
April 19Apr 19 A great episode last night and very very sad but important viewing. Kim was such a great character that I wish we seen more of her but credit to the actress for agreeing to take this role (I presume now that she was aware she was a short term character specially brought in to die). I hope the next block of episodes isn’t set too far from the last episode that it’s completely just forgotten that’s my only concern but I thought it was such a good episode last night. From the top of my head it’s only the second time we’ve seen a death as a result of an eating disorder on a long running show (Hollyoaks did it way back in 2007 but I can’t think of another character who’s actually died as a result of one until Kim last night). Also really hoping next boxset we see more of Nicole and Jodie. Nicole especially has felt quite underused on this set of 12 eps but I think the spotlight may shift next boxset and characters who were perhaps more in supporting roles will get more screen time.
April 20Apr 20 I think Nicole featured so prominently in the last one and didn’t really come off too good in it that I was quite glad for the break, although her scene with Luca this week was lovely.I’m so pleased Faith survived, she gets such a bad rep because of her addiction but she’s my favourite character and one I think is so underrated. Kirsty Mitchell was sensational this week especially.
