#3 - hopefully behind Leona and probably behind Dido. I like it. ^_^

On another note, sheesh, I really wanted Leona to have a song that's success couldn't be put down to the big hype around it. 'A Moment Like This' being her winning X Factor song, 'Better In Time' was for charity and 'Bleeding Love' was performed on the X Factor. -_- Now we're on single four and this is the third of them to be performed on the X Factor.

(sorry for going off on a tangent there)

I'm hoping for #1.

To those of you who are questioning the fact it won't get played in clubs, I think you're forgetting about a beautiful thing called a remix.

It's SUCH a grower, though.

It was instant with me, but for a lot of people, they hate it first listen and love it by listen number four.

If it goes any lower than 6, i'll jump off Big Ben on Christmas Day in a turkey suit.

I said 6-10 but now I think it should be top 3 as I've listened to another few times and it's starting to grow on me which is a relief as I'm a massive fan :D

I have no doubt Leona's song will be another oversung borefest and be #1 that week though.

I think around #2. Definitely top 3

To be honest, I don't really like it (although I think it's a good song, it's just not my thing) and the ones that I don't tend to like as much do better

Sexy! No No No... is their best song by FAR in my opinion -_-

S!NNN is so their best song or at least my favourite! though a lot of fans seem to hate it?

I think top 5 (though that wasn't an option in the poll annoyingly its top 3 or 6-10), sounds like a competitive week but the girls have a consistent record and it's their lead song for this album. The X Factor performance should certainly raise the profile though its not going to make 11 million people automatically buy it just coz they're watching.

In terms of the song, i'm a little disappointed, i really think they do uptempo much better than ballady stuff (see the day, stand by you, ugh!). It totally sounds like a GA song, don't think the style is really different for them like some people are saying, just a bit subdued overall. I hope the album can be something as smart as Tangled Up, its their best so far IMHO

Imo, the only good part of SNNN is the marvellous intro. The rest is quite forgettable, I prefer all their other upbeat songs over it except I Think We're Alone Now and Long Hot Summer.

Oversung - perhaps in places. But certainly not a borefest, 'Forgive Me' is an uptempo song and because they worked with Akon for it, it's been described as 'The Sweet Escape' part two which can be a good or a bad thing as I know TSE is quite love/hate. :heehee: If anyone, it will be Dido with the boring song in the top 3 that week. This is assuming all three acts make the top 3 of course, I'm not certain any of them will.

I'm sure I've read (somewhere on Digitalspy) that Leona Lewis is performing on X Factor the Saturday before both records are released, but Girls Aloud are provisionally booked to appear on Strictly Come Dancing that same week instead, so if true that will be interesting to see how they manage to pull that off (either as a 4 piece minus Cheryl or record their slot as a 5-piece before SCD is recorded).

Personally I think those of you who think this will fail to go Top 3, are wide of the mark because it is too early to get over your expectations of a standard uptempo GA electronic dance classic when the reality is their new single is a more retro soulful sounding track.

I reckon if this poll was done in 3-4 weeks time the feedback would be more positive.

But i thought Leona was performing the saturday before her album (Spirit Deluxe) was released?

I relaly like this. Much better than what Sugababes have come up with. I think Dido will under-perform honestly. I think she will go about 7-10. This however will go to number 3 IMO as Leona will be Top 2 along with whatever the current number 1 will be.

I really like this, yeah it's not as instant as S!NNN or SKO or their previous stuff... but it's a grower and on 3rd time listening to it, I love it!

Well I've just listened to it and it's actually not that bad! :o It's certainly her most bearable song I've heard from her  Though the oversinging does get annoying in places.

Well, even if Dido´s new song misses the Top 20 entirely, she would still sell at least twice as GA with her album. I can´t understand how someone considers a piece of art like "Don´t Believe In Love" as "boring", while some unlistenable c**p like "Forgive Me" or "Girls" are being tipped as sure fire #1´s. Must be because people haven´t even heard it??? And the song doesn´t have a deluxe prostitute, oops, model, dancing with lingerie in a video, so it´s ... boring. It´s this bunch of discartable boy/girl bands that make the UK charts look laughable to the world. While artists who are worldwide recognized never achieve #1 in their own home land, some stupid girl/boy bands made of members who can´t even play a chord in a guitar, have epic sequencies of Top 3 hits. It makes stuff like Westlife figure alongside The Beatles or Abba in all time charts lists.

And all those charity shows makes me think the "charity" is actually done to the artists themselves, who get sure exposition from those awful performances and make their list of chart achievements longer with their yearly releases. They should change the message from helping the poor, to helping some hot bodied woman without any musical talent so that they cain maintain their "celebrity" status and not move to the porn industry, where their "talent" would fit better.

Reminds me a little of Emma Bunton's Maybe and I liked that, but I'm not too keen on this and I think it goes on a bit too long, but they always go top10 so no worries.

What if you think it'll be #4 - there's no option for that... :)

T3, I'd say, but definitely not a #1.

Why are people saying they dont like it - I absolutely love it

One of their best yet - I'd say it'll reach number 4 though, beind Leona, Dido and the previous number one... It'll be a big selling number four though.

Trust me peeps, this will grow on you...

Oh dear... not sure about this.

It's a bit too commercial - in a dull way.

The 'cool' kids who normally lap up GA won't be impressed

Perhaps a little thing called.. freedom of speech? B)

Obviously

But it was a mere statement meaning i dont understand how people cant love this :P

I think if the promotion is right then a #1/#2/#3 is set in place. Its the first single from the album, so that will help people buying it anyway and yeah i think it will do well. And i love it!

For the person who said that just cos they're on X Factor doesn't mean a #1 - you a right, it doesn't, but can i add, the week after the X Factor performance Call the Shots was #9 - making it so that the Spice Girls didn't get in the top 10 - and that was as an album track, the week after when it was properely released on cd and Itunes as a single, it went to #3. If the single with remixes and stuff was all released on the day after X Factor, i think it would have had a strong chance at #1

Definately 1 or 2.

I love how the people calling it bland are saying it will lose out to dido and leona lol

People love to hate on GA singles because they expect so much from their record run.
