Whigfield announced last week on ITV1's 'Everybody Dance Now' that she is releasing a cover of 'Jam & Spoons' 1995 hit 'Right In The Night' in the UK. Will it chart? Or has Whigfield had her day. Whigfield's last chart action in the UK was on the 10th of October 1998 when 'Sexy Eyes - Remixes' made number 68. 'Right In The Night' is gonna be released around the same time, marking it 10 years since a Whigfield single touched apon the UK top 75.

Personally I think Jam & Spoon - Right In The Night is a classic dance song, one of my all time favourites! That remix you've posted was not bad (bit similar to the Delerium - Silence 2008 remix tho)

Well she's always been based in Italy, and I think this song was a reasonable club hit in Europe. I really like it actually and hope it goes top 40, but considering we don't even know what label it's on yet, I think it's a wait-and-see...

Whigfield has been releasing music consistantly since her debut in 1994. Her most recent studio album was released in 2004 with a remastered and rearranged greatest hits released last year!

She has also been releasing music under the name Naan with people like Benny Benassi, Favretto and Molomodo. Check these out as they are brilliant!

She has been working behind the scenes for the last few years writing for people. She has major success in the states writing Edun's 'Put 'Em Up' which was a huge club and billboard dance chart hit!

I had the pleasure of working with Whigfield in 2002 and she was soooo fabs! Great personality. I have all her albums and am a massive fan. I agree with most that the original by Jam & Spoon is better (YanBG - i too adore Jam & Spoon. Find Me is just the best track!!) but i hope she can come back to the UK charts.
