I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. It's very different to some of their previous stuff, but this is a very good thing in a way.

I like the dancey vibe though, that must be said. I can imagine some $h!t-hot remixes will come of this in time. :o

Ooh you beat me posting this first lol!!!

I really like it, a different direction for certain. And Roo is right, I can see amazing remixes coming!

:cheer:

 Perez Hilton likes it:

The Return of The Killers!!!!

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Brandon Flowers and the boys are back!!!!

The Killers are coming out with their new album November 25th and they have just dropped the disc's first single, Human.

Produced by Stuart Price, who did Madonna's brilliant Confessions album, the song is The Killers doing what they do best but with a bit of a more danceable beat.

It reminds us of Coldplay's Viva La Vida.

Human should do very well for The Killers.

Radio will eat this up!

LOL! Funny that Stuart Price produced it as I thought it sounded like Get Together in places weirdly

Brilliant song and I hope it does well for them as they've been one of the bands of recent years who really have deserved their success :cheer:

I think even the chavs will like this so I'm hoping for a #1 this time!

I've gotta say, the reaction i've read this far from the single is excellent. I think this song could even be played in clubs and stuff, which will be sure to get more people interested in the song. I didn't know it was produced by Stuart Price, but knowing that now you can certainly see his influence.

This is definitely an outside chance for #1.

It's fanatstic! Made me fall in love with them all over again. Strong comeback.

Thanks for posting Jake, edited to add new working code. ^_^

Am actually loving this track, need to listen more times !

Absolutley loving this!

^^ Songs are being released so soon after being premiered now aren't they? :o

sounds like Ne-Yo - Closer :P

I like the beat and music, but there's something off about his voice and lyrics. Dont think the melody and voice match

this is definitely getting positive feedback and this should do very well as a single and no doubt give them a 3rd number 1 album also !

I think this will be absolutely massive.

Hopefully they'll finally get the #1 they deserve, after When You Were Young was cruelly denied it :(

I just heard it, and to be honest, I liked it but not loved it. Maybe because it's not a classic song of killers. It reminds me of "club-disco" songs, but it's not bad at all! I think that I just have to listen to it more times ;)

Is there not gonna be a physical? It's not on the release list

I know, how unfair!!! I remember I was so pissed off when they couldn't get to No.1!

Yes, November 10th.

Competition:

The Automatic – Magazines

Enya - Trains and Winter Rains

Grace Jones – William’s Blood

Killers – Human

The Kills – Tape Song

Liam Finn - Better To Be

Miley Cyrus – 7 Things

Oasis - I'm Outta Time

Same Difference – We Are One

The Script – Break Even

Taio Cruz - I Just Wanna Know

Tom Jones - If He Should Ever Leave You

Twisted Wheel - Lucy The Castle

I've read that it's download only on the 30th of Sep. :o

Yes, it's actually released next week on downloads alone :o

Looks like the only real competition would be Oasis, but seeing as this'll be the 2nd single from their album, I think Human could chart higher.

Depends on if there are big songs being released in the weeks before though...

I hope it can get to #1 next Sunday though! :D

I reckon that, with the whole Christina vs Britney vs Leona vs Take That vs whatever, the chart will be quite busy around that date, but I'm pretty confident they can do it!
