03 Stuck on Repeat

04 Click

05 Remedy

06 Meddle

07 Ghosts

08 Mathematics

09 Symmetry

10 Tune Into My Heart

Ahh, that looks better. "Love Kills" is a good cover but it seemed an odd inclusion, "Magical" was a bit weak as well so it's good to see they've been cut. Now I've heard 6, need to hear 6, which is better.

 at the "I discovered her first" things.... Odd that the person that started it pretty much discovered her last! She's been my avatar since August.

Looking forawrd to the album, not overly fussed with 'New in Town' though, but the Fred Falke mix is wonderful.

:kink: Earthquake is what was Every Little Earthquake, yeah :P?

I'm not gonna hear the six I don't know, I want to have some unknown tracks for me when the album comes out  :P

"Ruff" as in "Rough"; a rough mix i.e. a demo.

Oh LOL :( :hithead:

And funny EuroMusic 'brought her to the fore' when this thread was made two months before his sig and I entered her into the BJSC four months before his sig LOL. And that's not even a claim I discovered her first because Ben introduxxxd me :smoke:

Oh WOO. I've only heard 6

I've got a horrible feeling she's leaving too late to make a big impact. With La Roux at #2 (:o) and the Gaga backlash, I think the UK public is going to get tired of girls with synths soon :(

How exactly are 'In for the Kill' and 'New In Town' similar at all? What's this "GaGa backlash"? One dodgy TV interview? Why would that effect Little Boots at all? They are two totally different acts. If the song is picked up and taken to then it'll be big hit, she's had more hype then anyone for a start.

As for your last point, why again? We constantly have male RnB and cheesy dance, Yankee Pop/Rock etc fads only fail to stick when they have flimsy singles propping them up (check nü rave). This "girls with synths" thing will go and go until the quality drops, as far as I see all three of the ladies at the centre of this scene are putting out very pop-friendly consumer friendly and QUALITY music. So there's nothing to worry about.

I hope you're right...

great choice of cover, she is fantastic, so postmodern :heehee:

What Is Love? and See You Again were equally as inspired/great

Looking forward to hearing the finished HQ version of the album :)

She's done a pretty decent version of Overload there.

Could anyone else pick out the Lyrics error in the first verse or was that just me :heehee:

It's light years off the original, but tbh v2.0 and v3.0 can't get near the original but they are better than LB, they have the three part harmony but not as epic as v1.0's.

It has to be one of the best Sugababes covers i've heard along with the One Night Only version of AYN ^_^

NME have compiled a 'Hands' vs 'La Roux' showdown - click. Fairly complimentary about Hands, even though it 'loses'. Although losing out in anything at NME is pretty much equivalent to winning in the minds of those with taste.

And somebody on PJ is uploading the New In Town video right now.

Sounds promising, from what I can hear. :o

Can't wait to see the video, I heard it was being shown but I haven't seen it today. :(

Ooh here it is:

Watching now.

I think they missed a trick with the video. The first part is really poorly lit; I know it's meant to be a grim scene but it's nothing interesting to watch, just a mass of grey. Meh.

Hmm, it's not a bad video I suppose. It's the sort of thing I expected really.

It was the first time I've heard the studio version of the single. I love the middle 8, it's quite a nice addition to the song. I'm not sure I'm as keen on the edit to the bridge, I wonder why they changed it to "so don't rely on people you meet"? Maybe they thought it would promote talking to strangers. :heehee:
