February 17, 20169 yr Author Revised opinion: O B S E S S E D *.* I've been obsessed with it for probably a couple of months now, still not getting tired of it at all! We have a mutual appreciation of each other's entries this month. THIS IS SO GOOD I really wasn't expecting you to like it this much, soo pleased
March 6, 20169 yr Author 'Alchemy', which has quickly become one of my favourite entries of mine (probably second favourite after 'Calm Down', occasionally may switch it to first depending on mood :kink:), got the result of 24th place in the final of BJSC 82, in which it was an autoqualifier. I'm glad I got the opportunity to be straight through to the final with this song as it was one that I would've been slightly unsure about in terms of whether it would've been able to qualify from the semis. A light bulb went off above my head as I was listening to the songs of BJSC 82 and getting ready to do my votes, that perhaps I should make a video revealing my votes! I thought why not, as I love making videos, and this was the product of the idea, which was revealed by the host in the results show. I doubt many people watched it from start to finish lol and that's fine. Here it is again anyway. March 6, 20169 yr Such a brilliant entry  Top 25 is a good finish for something so out there. Looking forward to further 2k16 Deandria entries *.*
March 6, 20169 yr Author Such a brilliant entry  Top 25 is a good finish for something so out there. Looking forward to further 2k16 Deandria entries *.* Thanks very much  I actually had three different Poison Ivory songs in mind at various times, so glad I went with this one tho as it's easily my favourite out of the three and the most exciting  I knew you liked it, but that 18 at the very end from you was such a surprise lmao, what a great way to end the results show :kink:
March 7, 20169 yr Author bV0D38nFUhU This is my entry for the Movies spin-off. I went through many potentials and discarded them for various reasons, but eventually decided to go with this one. I'm not the most confident about this entry. It's a really beautiful song, but I don't particularly feel 100% behind it if I'm honest :kink: I wanted "the perfect entry" and as I said, went through many different songs but just couldn't really find what felt like "the right fit", but it is what it is. I do like it as a song. I've never actually seen 'Surely Someday', which is the movie it comes from, and I didn't know of this song before I discovered it specifically for this contest.
March 11, 20169 yr Author Well, I came 30th out of 36 (possibly 31st since I tied with Persephonia and no tie break has been done yet it seems) in the movies spin-off with the above song. I received 68 points. I was indeed expecting a bottom 10 result, and that's exactly what I got :magic: Oh well. It's a beautiful song but I kinda can't help but wish I had sent one of my other potentials  Thank you to everyone who did like it and gave it some points, would like to especially give a shout out to Pagasa for the fairly high score of 12 and to Ultraviolenceland who called it their favourite discovery of the edition! I received 7 points from them. Edit: Just saw that Deandria lost the tie break with Persephonia, therefore I came 31st.
March 15, 20169 yr Author I have chosen this to represent Deandria (who was once called a classy nation :kink:) in the 10 year anniversary contest! iazNeQb1yvo http://oi68.tinypic.com/ekgkdw.jpg Tagged as "yeast infections" and "classical" xD Similar artists: Shirlena Johnson, slay!
April 12, 20169 yr Author "Queen of Vagina" Majela ZeZe Diamond came 33rd with 76 points in the 10 year anniversary contest, slightly higher than I expected actually... Excitement is in the air about BJSC 83 now, to which I have sent 'Father Hu$$la' by Ecca Vandal. It's quite unusual, I like the blend of rock/indie/urban elements. TJ_FHLpZ_fQ
May 10, 20169 yr Author Introducing Holdviola with the powerful, epic and damn beautiful Vágta. This is of course for the Worldvision II contest, where I was assigned Hungary ^_^ Really looking forward to listening to all the other songs too! Last time I was not disappointed. FMnaq7h4XOU
May 12, 20169 yr -Breaks up the constant flow of Mattias posts in here- This Worldvision song from you is sooo good! As I said on Dubtrack, I just adore the twists and turns and feel like it's an exciting lil journey. Hope this does well for you! Becoming a bit of a Deandria stan this year it seems :o Think I have voted for everything you've sent that I've had the opportunity to vote for so far except in the Movies spinoff (even Majela got some 'mealworm' points ) and I would've given Father Hu$$la a 12 had I been in that semi. Absolutely on a roll right now *.*
May 18, 20169 yr Author Thanks Jade for commenting! I very much like Jadakissnia's current Worldvision entry as well, the production *.* For the 84th edition, Deandria have decided to send one of the many tracks they found and liked during the process of looking for a song for Worldvision II: Anna and the Barbies - Álmatlan. What we ourselves consider a very risky entry, it consists of Anna Shepherd rapping in Hungarian over, among other things, a strong beat that could probably be described as trip-hoppy, intertwined with some male vocals singing in English. Not expecting this song to do much but who knows, maybe the risk will pay off? 1tD3QoZj7qk
May 24, 20169 yr :snif: This entry was so unique and standout in the semi. A shame this didn't qualify but thanks for the discovery! (And yay at you being a fan of our Worldvision entry!)

Thank youuu <3 As I've said before, I'm also a fan of your entry for BJSC 84! A pretty unique and haunting entry! Jadakissnia is one of those countries where I'm always curious to see what you've sent! Mutual appreciation going on quite often, yay *.*

Deandria is the same for me, I always love a bit of weird and wonderful so your entries are almost always exciting to me! Yay *.*
May 25, 20169 yr Author gallop Holdviola's 'Vágta' achieved 10th place with 135 points in the second Worldvision contest, hosted by the Swiss representatives Hushkanukia, who themselves came 2nd with 'Children of the Digital' by It Takes a Village, a song we awarded four points. The winners Unovia got nada from us, but 'No Hero' by Elisa, representing Italy, was a strong winner indeed, although in a way it would have been nice to see a song win that was sung in the native language of the country being represented. Either that, or of course our 18 - the instrumental piece from Danaelanda, Arston's 'Light', which kept growing on us massively. A fantastic discovery! Just realised our entire top 3 were instrumentals in fact... Danaelanda, as mentioned, received 18, Skall got 15 and Persephonia took 13 points. All three of them were in the top 10 with ourselves in the end. We're chuffed that the Hungarian folk rock song we sent struck a chord with people enough for it to secure itself a place in the top 10. Thanks to all who pointed it, a massive thankyou to Séyetana especially, who was the one country to give us the big 18 points. Being randomly assigned a country and then trawling through the depths of the interweb to find a song he likes from said country to send to a contest is something that very much appeals to this Deandrian ~ Additionally, as I've already mentioned, Worldvision inspired us to also send a Hungarian song to the main contest which made the whole experience even sweeter. However, 'Álmatlan' very much flopped, coming 27th in semi 2 with 23 points (but hey, at least it didn't come dead last, I'm afraid Flynnonda had the displeasure of that happening, for the second contest in a row sadly). After being hesitant the night of confirming for ages (and generally unsure about what to send for a good while before that), we decided to go with it anyway as it just suddenly jumped out as one of the best, most intriguing discoveries we made during the search for a Worldvision entry (there were a lot of good ones!). Thank you to the six of you who pointed it, I actually remember the countries who did so by heart this time - Jadakissnia, Espen (6 points each), Thelonia, Suedonia (5 points each) and Altyr Muunilinst (1 point). The first two were among the handful of countries we did indeed think/hope it would appeal to and we were right. #psychic7 impact?
May 25, 20169 yr Congrats on the Worldvision top 10! :cheer: Like I commented in Bray's thread, a bit of good news almost straight away after a DNQ! Which... shouldn't have happened </3 You were certainly right about thinking/hoping I would be a fan. I look forward to what you unleash on us next contest~
