•Rihanna Daily heard some parts of Rihanna’s first single of her upcoming album. The song is amazing! You guys will love it, it will be another hit! We believe the name of the song is “The Wait Is Ova”. However, we are not going to post it in respect of Rihanna. Don’t worry, it will be released in a few days!

•Anthony Mandler is the director of Rihanna’s new music video. He directed “Unfaithful”, “We Ride”, “Shut Up And Drive”, “Hate That I Love You”, “Take A Bow”, “Disturbia”, “If I Never See Your Face Again”, “Live Your Life”, “Rehab” and “Run This Town”.

 

Rihanna’s upcoming album will be a double-disc set, according to Amazon.com! There are other albums that will drop on the same day (November 23): 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct”, Timbaland’s “Shock Value” 2, Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster”, Jay Sean’s “All or Nothing”, Birdman’s “Pricele$$” and probably more.

 

In other news, Def Jam is doing everything they can to don’t let anybody find out infos on Rihanna’s single and album. They’re not even sending e-mails to record labels, they’re calling them.

 

And according to a trustable source, “we will all listen to Rihanna’s single at the same time”.

“I think she’s got, like, a million people writing songs for her, but the ones that we worked on she’s grown up a little bit and she has things that she can say,” he explained. “So that’s what we tried to do — craft things that are that of a young woman.” Timberlake added that because of the huge success of her last album, Rihanna wants to make sure she isn’t pigeonholed into one sound or vibe. “She broke onto the scene so hard with the last record — to have that many songs on the charts is impressive,” he said. “I think that the smartest thing she’s doing is not trying to emulate what she did but move forward … I’ve heard some of the stuff on the record and it’s awesome.”

Rihanna's follow-up single to 'Russian Roulette' has reportedly been announced.

 

According to Angry Ape, producer Mikkel S. Eriksen has confirmed the popstar's next single as 'The Wait Is Ova' from her upcoming album Rated R.

 

Eriksen told Adressa.no: "We were just told that they go for 'The Wait Is Ova' as next single.

 

"It will launch in a few weeks - before the album release. It means a lot to us to join a single-release in this format."

 

Rihanna's fourth studio album Rated R is to be released on November 23.

So basically they arent going to do much with RR and make it a buzz single just giving it airplay and then the proper single would be TWIO with airplay, video the lot..

Well im really pleased as The Wait Is Ova sounds brill and much more instant than Russian Roulette, can't wait to hear it in full!

Seems to me that 'Russian Roulette' is not the lead single afterall.

It looks like 'Russian Roulette' was just a buzz single then. I adore the track, but it seemed that not many other people did.

Guys, 'Russian Roulette' IS the actual lead single. It was put straight onto the B-List on the Radio 1 playlist last week!

OMG if that is real, i LOVE it!!

I'd be disappointed if Russian Roulette wasn't the lead stuff, it has some very word in the title :kink: It's gorgeous not to release.

 

Oh the cover is very good, not great though. :( :o

 

I really like her new style. Just imagine how Rihanna has been changing over the years. :o It seems that she's been a celeb forever. GOD BLESS JAY-Z!
