Posted October 15, 200816 yr The Sugababes are to temporarily split so that Keisha Buchanan can fulfil her dream of studying at university, reports say. The founding member said that being in the girl group since the age of 12 had meant she was never able to carry out further studies. "It's my dream to study at university. I've been in Sugababes since I was 12, so I would love the opportunity," she is quoted as saying. "We would do our individual projects and come back together stronger than before." Buchanan recently claimed the group are more successful than their rivals, Girls Aloud. "I get asked a lot, 'aren't they a bigger band than you?' Well, no. They're not," she said. Digitalspy. I read something like this elsewhere as well today can't remember where.
October 15, 200816 yr Author I'm not sure it is true because they already have plans for the next album.
October 15, 200816 yr I read this today during school and screamed "NO!" in the middle of the class. <_< I hope its not true  , and why does it randomly bring up rivalry with GA?
October 15, 200816 yr It's not true LOL. The 'temporary split' is the break they're taking between this album and the next, that's all.
October 15, 200816 yr Why ? Keisha .. you are famous & smart. If you go to school everybody will walk behind you etc etc :P
October 15, 200816 yr but won't she have to redo Maths and things to get in to University? And  at the temp split thing.
October 15, 200816 yr If she left and a new member came in, it would be so ironic! Although she cant and wont leave (keep saying it, keep saying it!).
October 16, 200816 yr she could study at home in her spare time- open university style! A little rude saying she hasn't got the grades- did you mark her papers for her?
October 16, 200816 yr hardly rude. you need a-level for uni's. she has GCSE's and her grades are in their official book actually!
