This is brill! :D I saw it last night when M Soap posted it in the Lounge  didn't realise you made a topic on it!

from next week she'll be doing some TV and radio promo all over the US for the song :w00t:

and they decided to go with the asian video (posted above) internationally

The song itself is pretty good bu the lyrics are really terrible

Both vocal and lyrics are so horrible that I just stopped halfway. I can still hear her Asian accent and lyrics are like...

so yum yum lol.

o.O What's wrong with accents?

But yeah, the lyrics are terrible LOL. I mean honestly. I think the video has like totally legit dancing in it, but otherwise this is a complete guilty pleasure for me.

this sounds like a song for cannibals. lol. I do like it though! Thanks to the amazing Bloodshy and avant production. Her vocals are a tad...strange though.

Love the video. The dancing is like...whoa. So much energy. Reminds me of Janet Jackson and old skool britney

Yup. And they can't do no wrong. They're amazing. I'd say one of the greatest

I'm really happy with the fact that a lot of people like this song, hopefully it's a sizeable hit. Her English album is planned for next year, promotion starts next week.

"BoA and even former employees were not able to hide their surprise," a SM representative said after they were notified of how BoA managed to make her way up onto Amazon and iTunes charts. "It's a good start because we didn't publicly release the song nor do promotions. It will accelerate her growth from being Asia's Diva to a Worldwide Diva."

Next week BoA will go around TV stations in the U.S. to start full-scale promotional activities. She will go on local radio stations, tv programs and visit music stores to promote and increase awareness .

SM revealed that they will be taking highlights from the Eat You up mv by director Cha Eun Taek and showing them on large screens in New York and Los Angeles. The promotional video will be shown every 2 minutes at New York's Broadway and will continously be shown at LA's Wilshire Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The large screen promotions will continue for the next 3 months revealing other various clips in sequential order.

Plans on releasing her first album early next year and having a national tour have not changed. The title track off her album Look Who's Talking, which is a strong song but is not by the same team that made Eat You Up. The song has been completed along with the choreography.

Gooooo BoA!

The lyrics are cringeworthy. :(

agreed. but the vid is hot, the production is ace and despite the lyrics its awfully catchy!

Lol the lyrics are so awesome! Only a non-native speaker could come up with it.

"Like i've become some kind of demon in the night,

you look so tasty I could eat you up alive."

Her English is realy good as well, especially comparing her to most other Asian singers. She's been on/off learning it since c. 2003 but more intensively over the last year.
