She will get lost in the Lady Gaga and Britney hype if she were to release something right now. In America atleast.

TBH there are so many release's over xmas I'm glad its been put back it will do better.

A Short Convo With... Tricky Stewart

Posted 12/04/2009 at 2:55 PM by VIBE

How did you approach working with Christina Aguilera versus R&B artists?

With Christina it's a little different, because Christina wants music that you haven't heard before. She did things that she's never necessarily heard on the radio. She doesn't want a record that sounds like anything else so you're trying to create an entirely new sound for an artist. The three tracks that I did, they're all uptempo tracks so we definitely kind of get the club moving but it's just a matter of her doing different styles and using her voice in different ways.

Vocal style on the Ladytron tracks:

Ladytron founder, Daniel Hunt, said: "She's an absolutely amazing singer but one of the things she talked about was working with a softer vocal sound, so I think the stuff we do will feature simpler melodies."

Number of songs for each producer/writer so far:

Sia - 4 songs (1 of the tracks, accoding to Sia, is more epic than "Beautiful"! Holy f***!!!)

Diplo/Switch - 2 songs (one of them is a vocal collab with either MIA OR SANTIGOLD! *dies*)

Tricky - 3 songs

Ladytron - 4 songs

Goldfrapp - ?

Focus - ?

Le Tigre - ?

FINALLY!

that's a reeeeally anticpated album. it should better be good :)))

anyway, a lot of people were criticizing christina for her 'oversinging' and her constant vocal acrobatics /not me - i definitely appreciate her live performances/, maybe when she softens the sound we'll find something new to like about her :)

:o :o :o

ESPECIALLY THE PART IN BOLD.

A collab with M.I.A. (or Santigold) really would be something else...

Christina Aguilera has announced that her much-anticipated fourth studio album will be titled Bionic. :yahoo:

The new record, which is the follow-up to 2006's Back To Basics, is scheduled for release in March.

Speaking to Marie Claire, Aguilera confirmed that the disc is about the "future" and was inspired by her son Max, who motivated her "to want to play and have fun".

The 29-year-old also revealed the names of three tracks from the album. The first, 'Glam', is described as a "poppy, hip-hop inflected" number and is expected to be the lead single. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Further confirmed titles include the "electronic" title track 'Bionic' and a ballad 'Lullaby', which was co-written by Sia and dedicated to her son.

Are you excited? I know I am. I am just screaming with excitement. :w00t: :cheer: :cheer: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

This is so overdue! Im very exited about this, i've always been a fan and she's had some really brilliant songs in the past. Keeps Getting Better got a lot of unfair hate for some reason, I personally liked it but I dont really want her to continue with that sound.

Looking forward to it and I hope she gets the sucsess :)

Titles we have so far:

'Beauty Queen'

'Bionic'

'Bitch In Heels'

'Glam'

'Listen Up! (Interlude)'

'Lullaby'

'Monday Morning'

'Sex For Breakfast'

'You Lost Me'

:D

This is supposed to be better than the 'Stripped' era apparently!

LOVING the title 'Bionic'! So pumped at the moment, and it's quite odd, coz it's only just got to me! LOL

I am actually looking forward to this, I hope there's some gems on this album! I loved 'Keeps Getting Better' but I agree that she didn't really capture that sound effectively. Move on and up please Xtina bbz thx.
Really looking forward to this! If she does it right she could easily be HUGE again. Totally agree about 'Keeps Getting Better' tbh.

So she's not really going for the electro sound after all? :( I was hoping she'd sort of take what she did with 'Keeps Gettin' Better' one step further and better it. I'm still really excited as I do love her muchly.

I like some of those titles, I hope 'Sex For Breakfast' is as exciting as the title suggests. :P

:w00t: I love Christina and I can't wait to hear new material! Love the name Bionic.

Most of the producers involved are underground electronic types. As far as I can see it's only really Tricky Stewart who isn't so I imagine there's a good chance this 'Glam' could be his.
