Because their singles are up against eachother this week we will use them as examples - to me Beyonce doesnt come across as being any more arrogant than Britney and Christina

I still think Britney will overtake Beyonce, so no worries there.

I am not sure if she could go top 5 this week however, since Beyonce and Leona are releasing with physical CD's and digitally. Plus there is the huge X factor single and a few others too.

Leona's management have surely scuppered her chance of #1 this week by releasing tomorrow and chopping a day's worth of download sales from the pot.

Everything about Beyoncé's music is completely self-absorbed. Her album titles are a good example. 'B'Day' was a title because it was HER birthday. 'I am...Sasha Fierce', all about...erm her? The whole concept of the record is about her and who she is. Except the ironic thing. Beyoncé doesn't write from personal experience in life. She's always on the outside of every song she co-writes. She's a bit of an empty musical vessel. She has a good voice yes but she's completely swallowed up by narcissm and image and in the process has nil musical integrity or creativity.

I personally wanted Christina to do the best out of them all (or Alesha even). Christina's release has been handled so badly though. :(

i love x tinas new one. its great. far better than brineys effort. i say effort, you know what i mean. never been a fan of beyonce but anything is better than britney going to number 1. i prefer leona, someone with such a great voice, shes fab. but yeah 2day my support goes to xtina, go girl! great song. shame about the video! oh yeah cant forget alesha, her new one is great as well

'If I Were A Boy' is very nice to listen to, I think. However the lyrics are very cringeworthy and it seems as if Beyonce or whoever wrote the record has no idea what goes on in a relationship :lol:

 

I hope Christina does well as it's much better than most of the big songs out this week but the whole thing seems to have been totally screwed up tbh :( I guess they're just concentrating on the greatest hits for her.

'Womanzier' will do well because it's chorus is so damn catchy and infectious, I can't get it out of my head.

The rest of it though is just a shambles.
