They did the right thing! Coz now if it's 23rd November it will be a simultaneous release (Which is what Britney should have done) and they will get a better chart position than they would have got if they released now! I reckon Top 5 (perhaps 3 - 5 would be all they got too this week, with The Killers, Beyonce, X Factor and T.I all going to be selling incredibly well!

 

I was going to say that Johnjo - I really think Britney's team let her down on this ... we could have had a brilliant battle to look forward to week commencing 24th November! Even though it makes Take That's quest for number 1 appear a little easier - I think I'd rather have had a challenge. Having said that ... it was Take That's original plan to have a simultaneous release date of 24th November ... I'm just glad that they seem to have reverted to that idea!

:o Go T.I. :wub: Finally a decent #01 after Girls Aloud, X Factor and Beyonce's dire singles. If it gets #01 next week (I know, it's v. unlikely) then it'll beat Pink in the biggest climb to #01 within the Top 40 :D

Lol same here! I dont think it'll be a match to Hero, at least this week.

It's not that bad and certainly miles better than a cheap reality show cover song :/

Its just rapping over the O-Zone song featuring Rihanna on vocals. Hardly deserving of being #1 imo.

'Live Your Life' is incredibly tacky. The preachy lyrics, ill-fitting sample. Corny to the extreme.

Oh for f***S SAKE. The TI track is an abomination, as was the O-Zone original, and with so many great tracks up near the top (Beyonce, GA, Katy Perry) it's a complete embarrassment that the British public are once again letting the chav vote rule.

Rihanna has been VERY GOOD these last couple of years, so why she's agreed to STAIN her career with this is unfathomable.

Well there are obviously alot of fans, and TBH there are people on here who have said they like it, when I never thought in a million years they would TBH!

its gotten her another US #1 hit so I can see why.

I don't know why but it really annoys me when people say 'Live Your Life' is Rihanna's song :mellow:

 

It's T.I's and he will have approached Rihanna for additional female vocals on the song.
