Well depending on how the album holds up, I wouldn't be surprised to see them get a re-release. It's so common nowadays.

How terrible, It should be Chasing Lights.
I think Issues is a really good choice, but I love all the songs so It wouldn't matter to me what it was.

interesting choice of single, I do love Issues but I can't help but feel that Work, Keep Her or Set Me Off could have had more hit potential

I see this one failing to make the top ten

oh, and I also prefer Fall at the moment :o

I like this. Not the best ballad for them to release, but definately the most commericial. Makes senses for them to have a 'softer' track up next so to speak.

And no11 is not disappointing! I thought both the album and 'Up!' would bomb and they'd shove off into FlopLand within weeks but they've done really well - especially as the amount they sold would've probably got them top ten every other week this year.

Just a little update on this, apparently many radio stations are refusing to play the track because the word 'slap' sounds like 'stab' and is apparently promoting knife crime! As if! So they're having to change the lyrics pretty pronto for the radio/single release version. They totally wouldn't give an exclusive on what the new lyric would be (I blame Rochelle!) but we're thinking 'dump' fits quite nicely.

Seriously? That's rather flipping ridicolous isnt it.

"Dont know if i should dump you or kiss you" sounds awful as a lyric aswell.

Yeah in all seriousness they are having to change it! I guess it's because the management don't want any controversy or confusion over it.

I think I love Issues, it is so catchy.

However I prefer "Vulnerable", "Keep Her", or "Lies" as next single.

Keep Her would've been better - proper love that!

WTF?

I'm glad it wasn't me just being stupid way back when I first heard it and thought the same. I actually still hear it sometimes, I think the line is said four times in the song and the first two sound a bit like 'stab' and the other two sound like 'slap', the second time they say it being the worst one for me.

Well what it says, they're having to change the lyrics because otherwise they're going to run into big problems when it comes to airplay due to the confusion over the whole 'slap' sounding like 'stab'. Confirmed today in the flesh by Rochelle.

There is someone on The Saturdays official forum who even got emailed by the site manager telling them they would have to change their username which is 'StabYouOrKissYou'.

Actually it is quite easy to mistake. But seriously, I didn't even think about it until you posted it here

But hey with the soceity we live in nowadays, anything can happen ;)

I've never heard it as "Stab" myself.

i do, i was playing this in my car today and singing along (sad much) and i said slap and clearly heard stab sung where i had said slap...

Changing it to 'dump' is stupid.

They should just say smack?

Do we HONESTLY need ANOTHER Saturdays thread?!

erm..... the success of the threads in creating debate/chat clearly indicates that... YES they are justified.

issieus is good but chasing lights would have been amazing!

really hope they do lots of promo, so this could get top 10 aswell!
