Can he just shut up whining?

First saying Stoke players were deliberately trying to injure his players because he lost, and last night he was complaining about refs as he didn't win.

Talk about toys out of pram!

I've never heard that nickname! Maybe I've had my ears closed to such lies! To be fair, he had a point against Stoke, one of the two offenders even admitted that their challenge was bad, if not deliberate.

I don't know what he said last night about the referee but I don't think the ref was unfair. However if he'd complained again about physical abuse he'd have been right. One of their players was a right tyke and gave a deliberate elbow in the face.

In short, Arsene could complain that the opposition goalkeeper touched the ball with his hands and I'd still support him. THE MAN IS A GENIUS

A genius he may be. An complete moron he is, too.

One of the Stoke players may have admitted it was a bad challenge, but he didn;t admit to deliberately trying to hurt the player, which is what Arsene Wenger was accusing him of. And last time I checked the one red card in that game given for a stupid and reckless challenge wasn't to a Stoke player, though Wenger is probably unaware of that, he was too busy moaning about something to see that it happened.

Oh, and he's been moaning about having to play saturday, midweek, saturday... :manson:

Well all the best do it, but Arsene is clever enough to do it in press conferences and not get charged with misconduct leading to touchline bans

Stoke v Arsenal.

Which side had a player sent off in that match?

Oh yes of course it was Arsenal's Robert Van Persie.

Arsenal for all their pretty football, are an ill disciplined team who frequently let their petulant & suspect temperament get the better of them. That responsibility lies squarely with their manager.

Yes, that is true, but what he is saying is he believed we were punished for it while the opposition weren't. I don't think he has bemoaned our sending off.

As far as ill discipline goes, I think you are well wide of the mark. That is the Arsenal of old.. under Graham/Rioch we were a gritty, badly disciplined team. We have improved so much in those stakes. Last year we finished fourth in the Barclays Premier League fairplay league. I don't know why the table isn't uodated beyond six games on the Barclays website, but as far as it IS updated for this year, Arsenal are top of the fairplay league - a league which takes into account the cards that have been shown, and the respect of the team to opposition and officials..

Couldn't agree more. I'm sure they regularly come out near the top of the discipline league? (or they did a few seasons back anyway) I guess that can largely be down to a lot of their players being inexperienced though.

But yeah, Wenger is a great manager, but he moans so much. Finds an excuse for everything too.

Oh am I reading the discipline leagues wrong?! LOL. I'm sure I'm not, cause it's a maximum of ten points for respect to other players etc and then a maximum of ten points for cards (minus three for red, one for yellow etc).

You're right that say, ten years ago, we were ALWAYS the least fair team in the Prem, but none of the current players were really about then.

For the last three or four seasons Arsenal have done very well in the Fair Play league, they were top twice! However, it took years for Wenger to sort the discipline, they've still had nearly 100 Prem reds under him!

Wenger's a twat

When we played them (and got a more than deserved draw - we should have won tbh) all he went on about in his post-match interview was how "ze sunderland, i sink zey play ze ten men behind ze ball and it make it deeficult for ze arsenal to play". Wtf does he expect? Yes Arsene, we're going to go all out against Arsenal and leave ourselves exposed at the back and concede a dozen or so goals just to keep your face from tripping you over. Sour-faced old tosser. Great manager but Christ, was a baby when he doesn't get his own way

Oh, and Arsenal lost to Stoke because they got Delapped can't handle the actual physical side of the game, simple as that

Pass, pass pass

Err what you just wrote is a compliment if anything... did he actually say 'its unfair, they shouldn't be allowed to do that'? Of course he won't have, he's a football manager, he knows tactics, he's not stupid.

As for the other point, there's a difference between playing a little bit rough (which admittedly is not our focus and maybe we need to man up a bit) and playing deliberately dirty, which is what he is protesting.

I know I'm the only one defending him, I'm not saying he isn't moany, cause he is, but he's also my hero!

And on that note, Fergie's another one. I find it hilarious that every time a referee has the AUDACITY to award another team a penalty against his precious Manchester United, he ends up getting a pissy little fine from the FA for making his mouth go. Failing to realise of course that Man U get so many incorrectly awarded penalties, free kicks etc against the smaller sides

Rant over

If you ask me Adam, Wenger should mind his own business and concentrate more on his own team and his own tactics than having pops at everyone else's

Perhaps if he'd spent more time organising his own squad properly than moaning, he wouldn't have ended up dropping 2 valuable points to "little" Sunderland ;)

..apart from when he got fined for losing his temper when Man Utd ended their unbeaten run in 2004. Not so clever then was he? :P

Well I'm the only one in his quarters here, I'm just trying to deflect right now and avoid any hypocrisy whatsoever lol!

Yikes, I don't see that what you quoted is having a pop at anybody?! After the match he is going to be asked why they didn't take all three and he has to comment on that, it doesn't even sound like a critisicm, just a statement/fact, that, if anything, makes Sunderland come off WELL....it's a positive for them if they didn't let Arsenal through... I reiterate, I'm sure he didn't say it was an unfair tactic..

The real issue here is that Arsenal are not strong enough. If they were winning all their matches then these accusations would not surface. They're sorely lacking a decent captain and some of the players with spark enough to turn a game they used to have like Bergkamp. They're also arguably lacking a talismanic frontman although Adebayor is fantastic.

I used to think Wenger was untouchable and would only be out of a job when he chooses to leave but another trophyless season and his job could be on the line. I hope for his sake he makes some astute signings in the transfer window. I don't think money's an issue, sure he doesn't have the funds of Chelsea or Man City, but he's bought very well in the past (Henry springs to mind) and he needs to do it again.

Yeah, I think that's a very valid point, he hasn't really brought anyone in the very recent times who turned out to be a giant of the game as with Henry/Vieira... however that said I think that he does a fantastic job grooming players as he doesn't splash the cash as some other clubs do.. and I don't know, I think if he was to get the boot Arsenal fans would go a bit Kevin Keegan, we're really grateful for what he's done and very loyal to him I think!!

Anyone who thinks Eboue is good enough to get into any team let alone Arsenal is an idiot, as well as playing defensive midfielders on the wings, selling all our best players, ruining our fast counter attacking football into triangular passes and never dealing with the problems in the team i.e. our useless defence.

He seems to have completely lost his mind. And this is coming from an Arsenal fan!
