She's getting loads of publicity at the moment - about 10 minutes this morning on GMTV. I wouldn't be surprised if her album does a lot better than some people think it will (despite its very mixed reviews).

To be honest though ... isn't that all it is? This hysteria over a 'comeback' with a song that isn't a 10th as good as Toxic? Or for that matter HMBOMT? I do think she is all style over content. Still ... I shall watch her 'performance' on X-Factor this weekend with interest! Well it'll be on in the background while I'm playing Scalextric! :lol:

I disagree though as i think the single is AS GOOD as 'Toxic' and think she is really at the top of her game right now - I am really looking forward to her performance and just hope she can really pull it off!!

I'm surprised at that. I think her fans just want it to be a success so much - they're making themselves believe that it is great. Don't get me wrong ... its good but not great. The same as, as a Take That fan, I think Greatest Day is good, but not great (odd given its title :lol: ) and certainly nowhere near as good as RTW, Patience or a couple of songs from the first time round. I'm just glad that having heard some of the rest of the album ... there are stronger songs on there. In fact ... I'm a bit peeved that Greatest Day could claim the number one slot when RTW (the song they'll now forever be remembered for) deserved it so much more.

I am not really a Britney fan tbh though - Just think this song deserves success. Agree with Take That comment, Loved their last album and RTW but think Gary wqas just trying to make another one with GD and i really dont think much of it!! Doesnt matter what i think though as there are obviously people out there who love it!!
