Certainly hope so. From the snippets I've heard the album is certainly better than Beautiful World (less fussy and over-produced.) It may not be as commercially successful as BW but from partial reviews radio stations who've been sent samples - it is certainly going to get some critical acclaim. They deserve it!

It means there has been an official update of the sales figure in the last 4 weeks.

So the estimate should be pretty close to the actual figure.

"The album has sold 228,725 copies since its release 11 weeks ago, putting it a little ahead of the pace set by Madonna’s last studio album American Life, which had sold 216,541 copies at the same stage of its life in 2003 on its way to total sales of 335,115."

 

Looks like Wiki was right for a change! Although musicweek aren't- her last studio album was confessions! :lol: American Life's been around for £5 in the recent Madonna promotions and also in some 2 for £10 deals quite prominently in the last few months so may have done a bit more by now.
