Interesting how everyone's response seems to be Xmas album. I'll take it tbh but obs would prefer a proper new studio album.

Indeed, the red dress made me think that it could be a Christmas project that she's working on. I wouldn't say no to a Christmas album even if that would inevitably make it another covers heavy release from her... but I'll take it!

I know I'm in the minority here, but I would actually quite like a Christmas album from her. I think her voice is perfect for a Phil Spector 60's style motown vibe Christmas album with songs like Winter Wonderland. Covers are fine for me with something like this, I'd lap it up (and her Xmas song is shit so if that is the best she can do lol).

I hope it's not for Xmas it's too early for that I'm hoping for a new single and a new album

Agreed, it would be the perfect fit!

I would be overjoyed with an Emma Bunton Christmas covers album.

 

Her voice has a timeless quality that sounds exquisite on all the songs she covered on tour. If she chooses those same songs, it could do well across a broad demographic. I could easily imagine my mum buying it, for instance. She’s played her Buble cd to death.

 

Personally, I hope we don’t get too many features. But I can see the business sense in what they did with My Happy Place.
