Red Blooded Women Paint Attacktonia Red!

Ashtonise representative, Red Blooded Women, landed in Inner Massivia last night on the first leg of their Red Blooded Tour.

The trio performed their previous entry, Colour Me Dirty, highly praised by many critics who believe it should have finished higher than 14th.

Next on the bill was a medley of Ashton's previous entries: Push The Button, What Do We Do, Addiction, True Believer, Hole In The Head, I Don't Know, Colour Me Dirty, Got No Place To Go, Barrowland Ballroom, Never Gonna Dance Again and Don't Wanna Go To Bed Now. The massive medley was followed by Synthesiser a track which was nearly selected for BJSCVII

They went on to perfrom Spotlights and Attraction. Before ending the night with the current Ashtonise number 1, and their entry to BJSCXII, You Made Your Bed.

The girls were overheard as they returned to their hotel saying how amazing the audience were, and that they would defiantly recommend visiting Inner Massivia to the other acts signed to Sugarecordings.

Inner Massivia New Music Melody Express

Inner Massivia have just voted in the BJSC for the very first time after holding a listening party of discerning BJSC fans in the exclusive Chart Club which is tucked away above the Old Bristolian Microbrewery in Attacktonia's Alt Markt.

The jury were surprised at the overall quality of Semi-Final 2 after hearing some previous negativity from other competing countries. The Massivian jurors had no problem finding quality tracks among the entrants and voted with as much enthusiasm as the free drinks allowed. After the voting was complete special star guest juror Sir Tom Jones took to the stage of the club to perform a selection of his greatest hits to much acclaim.

We now eagerly await the results.

Belinda's Massive Event in Inner Massivia

Belinda today has arrived in Inner Massivia to promote her entry in to the BJSC for the first time in her career, supported by another Kingdom of Shadow representative, Sir Tom Jones, Belinda said she was 'Really excited to be in such a new country which has already started brilliantly in the competition with their song by Leona Lewis'. Belinda started her promotion even before she got to the stage, a small group of Massivians were treated to an intimate acoustic version of 'If We Were' backstage. The main show got off to an intense start as Sir Tom Jones performed the song which he enterred on behalf of the Great Kingdom in BJSC VI 'Stoned In Love', the welshman also had the privelege of helping the Massivian jury in picking their point scorers from SF2 yesterday. Belinda rocked out on stage performing 'Bella Traicion', the spanish version of 'At The End of the Day'. After the show Belinda invited a few more Massivians backstage where she once again performed in her dressing room, this time she sang her entry into BJSC XII 'At The End of the Day'. It was a mesmerising show and we'd like to thank those who came out and showed their support in the lovely republic.

Showbusiness bookmakers Chartfair have installed Belinda as 2/1 joint faourite to win BJSC after an incredibly well received promotional visit to Inner Massivia today. Tickets for the main show, which guest starred Sir Tom Jones, were changing hands at five time face value among the touts outside the Mezzanine Bowl and to get hold of a VIP ticket for Belinda's exclusive acoustic set backstage in the Lively Lounge you'd have to sell a new born child into slavery.

Even though the visit came after the votes had been cast for Semi-Final 2 in BJSC XII, it's no secret that Belinda is one of the favourite new artists of Massivians across all demographics and is expected to have polled very well yesterday, qualifying Kingdom Of Shadow for the final with ease.

Inner Massivia cancel remaining tour dates

A state of emergency has been declared in Inner Massivia tonight after country-wide riots took hold following the announcement that the nation's entry for BJSC XII, Leona Lewis's Fool had failed to qualify for the final.

As a result secuity forvces have been employed on the streets of the capital Attacktonia and a curfew enforced in other cities. A further consequence of the failure to qualify is that all remaining dates on the Some Kind Of Fool promotional tour have been cancelled.

A statement has been released by the Ministry of Popular Music:

"We are of course delighted to have been invited to take part in the competition, but that delight is tinged with a soupcon of sadness at our failure to qualify. We are however planning ahead and have already contracted the artist who will represent us in BJSC XIII. Introducing Ms Melanie Fiona with Say It Right:"

I could see it coming but still, Leona would have got big points from me if i was in your semi. And really with all the effort you've put into the touring, you should have gone through on that alone.

Wow, if only Inner Massiva had entered this in BJSC XII then I think you would have had no problems qualifying for the Final. You certainly would have scored some very decent points from Nonsuch for this.

Still best of luck for next time......

Nonsuch BJSC XII: Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive

Riots in Inner Massivia died away this afternoon after 21 hours of violent disturbance. The catalyst for the return to order was the rumour that the Nonsuch entry into BJSC XII Lisa Miskovsky was flying in by helicopter to perform a gig at the Mezzanine Bowl.

Rioters, insurgents, and ne'erdowells linked arms with the police, army and elite security forces and marched en masse to the Bowl to watch the Swedish songstress perform an outstanding 2 song set.

In a state radio broadcast following the concert the President of Inner Massivia, Professor Sir Quintas de Cancellara, personally thanked the people of Nonsuch for their humanitarian gesture in sending Ms Miskovsky in as a artistic force of peacekeeping.

In a later private conversation between the leaders of the two countries, Cancellara agreed that perhaps the Lewis track was a little left stream for the contest and Melanie Fiona may have been a wiser first entry. However Melanie will be a proud representative in BJSC XIII.

Rumours are starting to circulate that Melanie Fiona, Inner Massivia's proposed entry into Buzzjack XIII, may struggle to get a work permit for Kopečka. This surely can't be related to the luke warm reception for the song from the BJSC community, can it?

This is ridiculous :o We've recently rushed through legislation allowing all BJSC performers to stay in Kopečka for the duration of the contest and its lead-up - especially the fabulous Melanie Fiona :o Those responsible for this will be fired :smoke:

The ruler of Inner Massivia, Professor Sir Quintas de Cancellara, released this press statement to all Massivian media outlets today:

"I can categorically confirm that Melanie Fiona with "Give It To Me Right" will remain our entry into BJSC XIII. The rumours suggesting she may struggle to get a work permit for Kopečka are entirely false and I have had a personal guarantee from the Kopeček Government over this.

An investigation by the Fraud Units of both countries will now be undertaken to establish how, where and why these rumours arose. It has been suggested by one member of the criminal underworld that it could be related to an Orchidian betting syndicate looking to cash in on the rumours of Ms. Fiona's withdrawal. There have been some very unusual trading volumes on Chartfair this week."

Lights Illuminates Inner Massivia

The Kingdom of Shadow's entry into this month's BJSC, Lights, today appeared in Inner Massivia to promote her single 'Ice'. After enterring superstar Leona Lewis last month, the Canadian artist commended the nation for their high quality entries into the contests to date, the classic 'Give It To Me Right' is apparently a firm favorite on Lights' tour bus. During her short stay in the relatively new BuzzJack nation, she performed 'February Air', her forthcoming single.

She also of course performed this months BJSC single 'Ice'

The Kingdom of Shadow would like to wish Inner Massivia the best of luck with Melanie Fiona this month ^_^

Attacktonia received the first of what the population hope is many BJSC XIII promotional visits today. First into town was the entry from The Kingdom Of Shadow, Lights. The young Canadian singer/songwriter performed a perky two song acoustic set in the intimate Lively Lounge at the Mezzanine Bowl to great acclaim. The performance was streamed live on MassiviaNet, and will be a feature item on tonight's The Late Late Culture Show on IMTV1. Lights will also be interviewed by esteemed music broadcaster Ghouls Collander about her nascent career and her entry into BJSC XIII.

It was of course highly appropriate that The Kingdom Of Shadow was the first nation to visit Inner Massivia for this edition of the BJSC, as their entry Belinda received the first 12 points ever awarded by our country in a final when we debuted last month in BJSC XII.

Professor Sir Quintas de Cancellara, President of Inner Massivia, personally greeted Lights after her performance and wished her and The Kingdom Of Shadow good luck in the competition. We hope to see them in Kopečka.
