The Record Of The Year 2008

 

Last year Leona Lewis won the prestigious title with Bleeding Love and well over a million votes were cast online.

In 2006 Take That won with Patience.

In the very first year, 1998, Boyzone won with No Matter What and the show had over 9.7 million viewers on ITV.

This year all ten finalists have sold over 300,000 copies in the UK alone.

Votes over the next three weeks are on http://www.roty.tv and the winner will be announced on December 14th.

I actually really like three from that list. Katy Perry, Estelle and Coldplay. My vote went to Coldplay though! I've listened to it more than I should have over the last week or so!

That's what I was thinking. Kate?! I guess that just shows how out of touch they really are.

 

I voted for Estelle but she's in last place. :\ Nickelback leading just makes it worse.

To be honest the whole competition is a joke, why would anyone vote for Nickelback the track is from last year its meant to be Record Of The Year, I bet JK fixed it idiot sorry if you are reading the topic but the track is so ancient, get real. Kings of Leon would have been a better substitute for it

They're 3 of the biggest selling singles of the year...

All those tracks suck. :(

 

But I'm voting for Nickleback, as I want a rock band to win. Would have voted for KOL if it was up there, which it really should have been.

I don't understand Duffy is way in the lead with 24.7%, and Nickelback is way behind on 12.6% how odd... suddenly Duffy has got more votes, has someone just fiddled it. :wacko: :blink:
