Peace and Love, I get bored of Bob Sinclar WAY before I get bored of anything Clubland

I also hate genre names being stolen from old genres. Electro from the 80s is awesome.

"Peace and Love" latin-pop house of the likes of Bob Sinclar/Yves Larock is very overrated

Yeah basically. It's early hip hop mixed with late 70s/early 80s synth pop. Afrika Bambaata's Planet Rock is a good example:

 

The honest answer to the question is the one that gets the most hype... Because it's "what's over-rated" as opposed to what you feel is the best/worst.... I cant stand the Clubland/Euro stuff, I tend to favour Electro beats... But Electro is the one that seems to get most of the hype, so given the actual question, it's Option C innit...?

The other 2 genres don't even really receive critical praise to even warrant a debate.

They dont receive critical praise but they sell bucketloads, so they could be overrated in that sense. Although i'd have to disagree with the 2nd option not getting praise, Pete Tong has his head up Bob Sinclar's ass most of the time. And I'm talking also from an European wide perspective. Stuff like Bob Sinclar/Yves Larock/R.I.O/Fedo Mora dominates the airwaves and clubs too.
