TBH! I think they should just scrap the Overs category! Since Steve Brookstein, the public have steered clear of them, no matter how good they are... Maria, Ruth & Rachel all had amazing voices but have unfortunately failed.

 

I agree with you, and actually they may do that next year since Dannii is rumoured to get sacked, so there could only be 3 judges !

I think some people are over-reacting just a tad too much. It's only a TV show. Austin shouldn't have gone all those weeks ago, but he did. These things happen. She was good tonight (and I usually don't like her...), but being good doesn't count for anything in public votes. Regulary the voting is messed up, and having a hardcore fansbase means everything these days...

But yeah 2 people in this thread both had trouble getting through to vote for Ruth so if that is representative of phone lines across the UK and sure Simon could easily rig things to cause a few tech problems for the one he wants out

You call Cheryl a bint and stuff every single week she's on the X Factor and I don't even react because I think your comments are childish. Rachel didn't deserve to go, but since she's gone now and I wasn't keen on Ruth at all and above all Daniel was one of the WORST acts to be put through to the live shows EVER so I really couldn't be thankful to Dannii for that. So yeah, I'm happy she's got no act left now... that's it really.

no way she should she have gone andi do think the judges now that even louis syaed dannii did well with ruth and that coming from louis who never praises dannii,,,but as a telent ruth has the talent and she seems a genuinly lovely person who appreciated evrytying and they all said she was lovely to wrok with i mean she had it all apart from a region behind her to vote

Although tbh I'm not surprised now. Her singing first, dodgy voting lines for her. Simon Cowell is just slowly flicking off contestants from the show, next it'll be JLS or Alexander.

 

But still, imo, Ruth is one of the best vocalists the X-Factor has ever had. The raw emotion in her voice on Purple Rain explains it all. She outdid Britney tonight. :lol:
