Well I bloody well hope so, she's not sung more than 4 songs at a stretch yet, it'll kill her to actually do a tour, when she finally gets round to doing one that is.

YES she has done quite a few 6 song sets.

SHe has literally been performing every night across europe this week.

In all honesty I think Will has lost his touch..

Changes was amaze :)

Grace seems really bland and There's nothing that special about it.

His album isn't his best either I guess that's why Grace isn't doing that well after all the promo he's doing!?!

I actually think it's his best album yet out of the four, I'm a biased fan I know, but there's not one song on LIG that I don't like. I would have gone with "Tell Me The Worst" or " Won't Look Down" as the 2nd single though and I Won't Give Up for the 3rd. Maybe he'll have a boost in the new year, but I'm happy with his sales so far and his sold out tour. :D He's done a hell of a lot better than any other UK male so far, poor Lemar's not done well I don't think, but Rhydian's looking good this week. :yahoo:

Oh come on now, let's be fair about this, he did 3 covers 7 years ago, but in that first year he also did 2 Arena tours, in his 2nd year he released Fridays Child and did a further 3 tours, summer, theatre and arena. Leona is re-releasing her debut album again and a cover version in her 2nd year. Anyways, let's not get bogged down with talent show winners in here, it's the iTunes thread. :D

People who live in glasshouses ;)

I think Will is incredibly talented. I think what he's done with his career should be an inspiration to all who find themselves coming through the same route. There's just no need to rewrite history in order to slate another artist is there?

The two best winners we've seen have had to go down different routes following their first release due to the nature of their record contracts - Will could concentrate on the UK and get the early tours in, Leona after the obligatory X-Factor tour has had to fly halfway around the world recording and promoting as she's signed to J Records.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's nearing 100 promotional appearances this year where she's sung live - she did sets at three concerts in Europe this week and a performance at an awards show after doing the X-Factor and then three live shows in the States. She's back over to the States performing at Madison Square Garden in a couple of weeks after recently doing live 6 song sets in NY and LA. The plan from the start has always been to tour properly after she releases her second album in 2009. That will be a coordinated worldwide release rather than this staggered over 6 months effort she's had to work with.

Anyway back to iTunes .......

30. Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley

Got to say the BBC's pre-emptive strike with this is superb. They've been using it on an excellent trailer for the iPlayer for a few days now and could be a genius move to spike the X-Factor.

One of my favourite songs of all the time! I like it more in the original version of Leonard Cohen or fron Rufus Wainwright, but this version is not bad either :yahoo:

Come on ITUNNNEEESSS...]

I really wanna see if Leona's made top 5 yet!

:D

Fantastic for ms Spears at 2 :w00t: Shame it will be short lived until Leona climbs back up :D Hopefully It'll be one of them where Leona will jump over them but Take That will be the ones to fall :heehee:
I'm really glad Single Ladies is doing good, I love that song. I would love to see Britney #1 though.
Why has Single Ladies shot up all of a sudden.

Because it's a big tune, and has started a dance craze in America! Beyonce should perform it at the XFactor final! It'll show people that American superstar can sing live and dance to choreography too. (e.g. if you wanna 'kill it' dancing through parts of the routine, dont even bother to pretend to sing!

Well there's no doubt Leona will be number 1 at the next update ... but I should imagine Take That will still be the filling in a Leona / Britney Sandwich! Can't see Britney overtaking Take That! But I could be wrong.
