Woah since when did the Oaks get good again :o I just watched tomorrows episode on E4 and i thought it was pretty good! Nice to see Hannah getting a good storyline running, after the whole "Im young, hot and single but noone wants to be my boyfriend" phase which got pretty boring after a while.

Hollyoaks has picked up in the last couple of weeks. I'm banging my head over Darren though - you just want him to sort his life out, and just as he shows signs of doing that, he does something silly like stealing money from Steph to do a runner :(

I think Darren is just a little confused. I havent been watching recently but he seems to be a genuinely good guy. Just makes quite a few mistakes a bit too often :lol: I wouldnt be surprised if he turned himself around in 2010 and when he bows out (hes been in it for so long its only a matter of time tbh) makes one big mistake that blows everything out the water..

Agreed. Darren wants to be a good bloke, and tries, but he just has no idea how to do that. And he gets absolutely no guidance from Jack, who is an abysmal father.

That and Lydia is so unbearingly annoying that she just needs to die asap. She doesn't even have the appeal that Niall has, she's just awful.

I quite liked it :( Although the dialogue between Lydia and Zoe was brilliant :lol: Was very cliche horror... But yes i quite enjoyed it. Wouldve enjoyed it more if i didnt know that

Zoe was going to be stabbed

but was still good nonetheless ^_^

I enjoyed it anyway. It was suitably dark with the Lydia/Zoe reveal, suitably dramatic with Charlotte confessing all to Mike, and suitably touching with Steph/Gilly.

 

However, can we PLEASE get rid of Fernando? Comedy one-dimensional characters based on a national stereotype should NOT last longer than a couple of weeks on any drama, let alone the year Fernando has.

I am with you 100% with Lydia and your hatred. It's not even hatred for the character. She's just a completely shit actress! She smiles on everything! Even when she's meant to be crying/being angry and stuff! ERGH!

 

Loved the NY eppy though. I must say I despised that blonde scottish girl (can't remember her name) when she first joined, but she's fast becoming a fave of mine I think now! :o Really liking Charlotte (I think her name's that - I am completely crap with names at the moment, i'm only just starting to get back into it :lol:) too. Bless her!

Ricky Whittle is aparntly (well acording to DS) complaining that Hollyoaks bosses wont give him time off work to do other shows, and he is annoyed as he aparntly gets offered so much work :P. Welcome to the real world Whittle, most bosses wouldnt give there staff time off to go and work somewhere else :P

wow hollyoaks is getting somewhat decent again, it got really bad a few months ago, to the point i missed it most days.

So the new producer has already begun wielding the axe. First up and out are

Josh, Neville and Suzanne.

 

I'm not surprised at the parents being shown the door, especially with Hannah leaving. Josh I'm a little surprised at

- I'd have thought there were FAR more obvious candidates for an axing. Hopefully Sasha, Duncan and Archie will be next on the hitlist.

I love how they're going through storylines again, isn't the one with Holly very similar to the one where Tom went missing a few years back? :P

I must admit Cindy is shining in this as an actress though.
