I just read that she was in The Dark Knight. So you see she HAS actually broken into Hollywood. I can't believe I missed her brief cameo as somebody or other's mistress!

The new sixth form characters are awful. That George thing is the worst thing to ever appear on my TV. I saw someone on Twitter compare him to Kurt from Glee. I'll take Kurt over that thing any day of the week.

I think Tilly's pretty good but other than that I'm inclined to agree :(.

I agree, absolutely the worst character in Hollyoaks by a mile. Johnno is really awful too. Maddy is okay, decently acted but highly unlikable (but then I guess that's the point). Tilly is really lovely, good match for Esther. The black guy whose name I don't know seems decent enough, he should get more speaking parts.

 

Can somebody tell me why Ruby and Esther aren't going to sixth form college? What are they doing instead?

Probably the weakest episode so far tonight, but I thought Mitzee was on top form! Looks like Friday's episode will be pretty damn amazing with them all coming to a great conclusion! Can't wait!! :D

Mitzeee really is outstanding :wub: such an underrated actress. Hollyoaks Later looks amazing tomorrow.

Tonight's episode of Later was the best by far. The only strand which wasn't all that was the McQueens on the island because nothing really happened there and that Michael Jackson guy just isn't funny. I loved the Silas stuff. So tense and then the way he softened when he saw Theresa with Kathleen-Angel was really unexpected. Isn't Rae just the sweetest, most selfless girl? I couldn't believe she did that so that Theresa would make her move. I really hope she doesn't die although I'm getting the feeling she will now. Also I have to say that the sight of Will topless caused me to faint multiple times. I thought he was cute before but GOOD LORD he is absolutely ridiculously swoonworthy and beautiful now, seriously. I have a new favourite crush!

 

The stag stuff was brilliant, I'd liked Warren earlier in the week but it was bloody fantastic to see him suffering some retribution and I'm glad they didn't do something really lame. Dropping him down that shaft was quite inspired actually. Mitzeee was indeed outstanding as was Riley. How refreshing to have a male hunk who can actually act. Is it awful that I want them to act on their incestuous chemistry? I think the reason why most of the stag scenes were so good was that there was so little Seth because let's face it he's rubbish.

 

And I HOWLED at Duncan and Ricky's dance-off with that awful motivator guy. Hilarious. The girl is really nice too, she reminds me of ginger Chloe a bit from years ago. Not sure why, she's obviously nowhere near as fat (although trivia fans the actress who played Chloe slimmed down and then wrote an autobiography called The Fat Girl From Hollyoaks which I thought was rather fabulous). I wouldn't mind her going into the main show at all though.

Despite how Gutted I am, that was AMAZING.

Devastated for Rae, but I saw it coming all along tbh :( :(. I'm now siding with Jark, she was such a selfless lovely girl who didn't deserve it at all - and on top of that is a MUCH better actress than Jorgie Porter ever will be!! Was very well done though, made me well up a bit (as pathetic as I am) when her last sight was Theresa & Will kissing. :(

 

The rest was done really well and should set up for a very good plot on the normal Hollyoaks - with Mitzee & Warren knowing about Mercedes' affair, everyone thinking Brendan killed Rae and how Lynsey copes with it (who I hope will become the heroine in all of this and be the one to expose Silas!). Hollyoaks honestly hasn't been this good for a long time now, hope this quality continues.

I have NEVER been so gripped by a soap, expect maybe the Eastenders live episode. Honestly one of the best single episodes I've ever seen in my life, I genuinely had no idea what was coming and it was a proper hand in mouth shock moment :o Glad it was done on Later though and not the main show, gruesome as it was it made the whole thing so much more gripping and believeable and you really felt for her, especially when she had to see Will and Theresa kiss in her very last moments :( You're not alone Jack, I had tears too :( And the way Silas came back to the pub and just gave the subtle hint that Theresa had a 'lucky escape' really gave me a chill. He is one of the best soap villians in a very, very long time for me, he's just perfect. And it really opens up plots too - Brendan inevitably getting the blame for Rae, as he sent her that text before. I just hope to god Silas doesn't get Lynsey and she exposes it all and becomes a heroine of the year as I so feel for her, having to watch as Cheryl pushes her away thinking she's gone mad. Again, part of how perfect Jeff is as Silas - nobody suspects the sweet old man! If he does kill Lynsey before she manages to expose him, I think it will end up dragging on too long. I'd like another victim or two that isn't Lynsey (less gap between them though) and then soon after that - her heroine moment!

 

On a less serious note, we had some Michaela moments (seriously, what HAS happened to her? She comes back looking like Frankie Sandford rather than being dressed/styled like a 12 year old, and she's utterly brilliant! COASTER JENNIFIQUE and her outbursts on Michael were highlights of the week for me!) - glad to have her back!

This is the first series of 'Hollyoaks Later' I've watched and it's been great! I already knew Rae was going to die but that still didn't make her death any less upsetting :( But Silas is such a great baddie and I know it's bad but he does make me laugh with some of his lines that have double meanings :lol: I knew it was kind of silly but i liked the fat camp stuff. I now kind of wish that Kelly would join the main show. I think I like her more than all the new teens put together! The Ibiza stuff was okay I guess, the Mercedes stuff wasn't that interesting but how nice to see Michaela again! Is she coming back to the main show? I hadn't realised it but she does add something to the McQueens. The stag stuff was good too. I like Riley a lot more then I did at the beginning of the week. I hope they come back to Riley/Mitzee at some point and after all that it's good that Warren knows the secret! :P

Oh my god? The final episode of Later was AMAZING or more specifically the Silas stuff was. I'm absolutely gutted for Rae, I really am because she was everything that cow Theresa isn't, but the way her death scene was executed was simply stunning. That close up on her eye as she saw Will and Theresa kiss gave me the chills big time. I think sometimes it's worth killing off a good character for the story so hopefully she's not forgotten about and this ramps everything up to the next level.

 

Also hope and pray this level of quality continues through the main show now. Almost everybody involved in Later was great but special props to Riley, Mitzeee, Warren, Mercedes, Myra, Duncan (v underrated), Will, Rae and Silas who all shone. Great stuff.

 

Ooh loving the twist with Brendan being set up even if I did see it coming a mile off, for some reason I didn't think of him being blamed for the other murders?! :lol: How silly of me. Will be interesting see how it pans out, I'm expecting another murder takes place whilst they think they've got the murderer ... just hope it's not Lynsey! :( She's going to be made to look even more psychotic now Brendan's set up too.

Hollyoaks Later was amazing. From Myra being high on E, to Rae's HORRIFIC murder to Riley's Bum, it was absolutely fantastic.

 

I guessed a while ago that would kill Rae off. Mainly because I knew for a fact they wouldn't kill off Theresa and the fact that she just randomly appeared and became BFF's with Theresa (where was Liberty, btw?). Rae's final scenes with her telling Silas that she was going to use and abuse men from now on were brilliant, and her actual death scene was horrific with the blood pouring down her face. But top notch acting all round from Alice Barlow and Jeff Rawle, who is surely favourite to win Best Villain this year? He's a maniac!

 

The Stag's party was also good. I really liked seeing Doug interact with other characters away from Leanne and Lee etc because he is awesome, and although I don't rate the actor who plays Seth, I think Rob Norbury has shone as Riley in the Later's. Rachel Shenton as Mitzeee is of course fabulous and an amazing actress. The scenes in the final 2 episode showed brilliant acting from Jamie Lomas and I'm really looking forward to where they take his character now, seeing as Warren will have left by Christmas.

 

The Hen Party's were a bit meh to be honest. I totally wasn't interested in Mercedes and Johnny's storyline at all, and Jennifique was a bit of redundant character obviously bought in because Jacqui and Carmel couldn't make the Hen for whatever reason. But Myra was a true star and shone, and it will be brilliant to see Michaela McQueen back in Hollyoaks. A fabulous character.

Ricky's remaining on at Hollyoaks but Duncan,Warren,Mandy,Pete,Liberty have all been removed from the titles. The first three are confirmed to be leaving.

In amazing news Father Francis & Gilly will be back next week to end the storylines.

 

I think the titles should have the older characters like Carl,Frankie etc. I loved seeing Silas in the titles.

Pete i think is departing as he's been on Espn a lot recently, good actor though. I hope Gaz & Liberty leave.. It will give more screentime to better and more important characters.

They should try and have every character in the titles. I'm sure they could put Diane and Heidi in the same scene as a yummy mums sort of thing. Frankie not being in them is a disgrace when the new sixth formers all are! If Liberty is going that's pretty amazing news, let's be honest.
