Oh I KNOW. I was howling with laughter, her facial expressions were enough! Really enjoying it so far, it's been really good plot-wise and acting wise, I adore Mitzee who is a fierce bitch. As useless as she is, I really don't want Theresa to die though, the McQueen's have already had one death, they don't need another just yet! All of the plotlines are a bit gripping (well the Johnny one maybe less so) and obviously going to come to a huge climax on Friday. I like how the main show is following on from the later show too with Lynsey suspecting Silas is up to something with the dating website ... very cleverly done! It's reminded me why I was such a huge fan of Hollyoaks.

A new producer has just started so maybe it's all up from here. I'm sticking with it this time :D
I'm also back on the Hollyoaks wagon! I've not seen any of the Hollyoaks Later episodes though :( MUST CATCH UP.
Another great episode tonight, Myra and the McQueens had me in stitches. Love them so much! Loved the twist with Seth killing the prostitute, I kind of saw it coming but not in that way ... it was well done I thought. The upcoming episodes will probably be the best as well I reckon, it all feels a little too obvious for Theresa to be the one to die ... so I reckon it might end up being Rae who isn't such a major character!

How many times is that now? To be frank, I don't think even

Sarah Jayne Dunn knows herself whether she's on the show or not these days. The woman needs her own revolving door. Is she going off to try and break Hollywood again?

Admittedly Hollyoaks haven't exactly utilised her well at all this time around.

I just read that she was in The Dark Knight. So you see she HAS actually broken into Hollywood. I can't believe I missed her brief cameo as somebody or other's mistress!
I think we can all agree that Myra is owning Hollyoaks Later. She seems to get better every episode.
Yeah I agree, she's been on top form and made me laugh so much in this. I'm liking how it isn't so obvious who will die this time ... in the other Hollyoaks Later it was always obvious that it was going to be Sarah but with this one I have no idea! Like I said, I just think Theresa would be too obvious right now.
Isnt Warren supposed to be leaving again?... Bit far fetched for either of the Costello brothers to kill Warren but then again when has Hollyoaks ever known its limits?
Last night's Later was amazing. I hope Rae doesn't get bumped off though, she's much too lovely. I'd much rather it was the hideous Theresa. How dare she reject Will? He's way too good for her anyway. I hope Silas does his worst.

I don't think Warren will be leaving for a couple of months in all honesty.. I think his exit will have something to do with Mitzeee's letter. I can I just say that I adore Rachel Shenton and believe she is one of the best actresses in Hollyoaks, she's fantastic and can deal with anything thrown at her and she's just stunning.

Mandy has been underused but I see why she's not been given massive storylines as this has to be like the 5th time she's left.

Myra on drugs was the funniest thing ever. Hollyoaks later has been fantastic and I for one has no idea who Silas will murder on Friday! Both Rae & Theresa have claimed to be filming but Hollyoaks have been doing Red Herrings a lot recently! Also here's an article from the new soap producer.

Hollyoaks Community College also remains on set, but the student halls have had a new lick of paint with darker colours in time for the new term. More on what's coming up at HCC later…

After a chance to meet some of the cast and settle in, the event began in earnest at the SU Bar set, where we were introduced to Hollyoaks' new series producer Emma Smithwick. Emma (who was previously acting series editor on the soap) gave a speech about what we can expect on screen in the coming weeks as the autumn season gets under way, including how the sixth formers are about to become a big presence on screen, and how Hollyoaks Later is back for an explosive new series which culminates in serial killer Silas striking again.

Running through Later and beyond, the Silas plot looks set to remain well and truly at the forefront of the soap and become a lot more intense. A promo video introduced by Emma showed clips of Ethan looking sickened as he found the next body in the woods, while we also saw Brendan really starting to challenge Silas with a taunting: "You think you're bad? I'm bad!"

Unfortunately for Lynsey, it looks like Brendan is going to be the only one who believes her claims about Silas for the time being. The clips showed Nancy giving Lynsey a hard time over her allegations, claiming that she's only helping the real killer to escape detection by 'wrongly' blaming Silas.

There was also an amazing scene which seemed to show Cheryl pushed to breaking point over Lynsey's suspicions - in tears and screaming at her friend as she continued to doubt the nurse's reliability. Quite why Cheryl was so irate was a mystery, though.

If that wasn't bad enough for poor Lynsey, we were also given a sneak peek at her forthcoming showdown with Silas in the woods. In the clips, Silas continued to play his innocent act - telling his nemesis how sorry he was about her state of confusion and wondering what he could do to help. We then saw him move to attack Lynsey just as the promo cut to black…

Elsewhere, Riley and Mercedes's wedding day arrives in October and looks like it's going to be a big event for the soap. From the clips we saw, it's taking place at a posh country mansion, so it's all filmed on-location. Following the events of Hollyoaks Later, Doug will start playing a role in this storyline after finding out about Mercedes's affair with Carl. The footage shown saw Doug trying to convince Seth to do the right thing for Riley and reveal the truth.

However, Warren also appeared to know about Carl's dirty little secret by this point and, with his own plan under way, he was seen turning nasty with Doug - pinning him against a wall and threatening him in a bid to keep him quiet.

We also saw Seth vow to expose Carl's guilt in his best man's speech, Jacqui looking uncomfortable at the wedding, and lots of guilty looks from the cheating pair in question. With all this going on and so many people keen to reveal the truth, will Riley and Mercedes actually make it down the aisle?

Along with the arrival of the new sixth formers, there's also a new batch of Freshers heading to Hollyoaks Community College later this month. Five new regulars will be the focus of our attention - perfectionist PR student Annalise and her long-term boyfriend Rob, laid-back geezer Scott, aristocrat Barney - who's at HCC under sufferance as his parents want him to experience the real world - and finally wild party girl Ash.

Emma explained that the soap's team are working hard to create a more realistic portrayal of university life through the new characters, so we'll see how they seem like fish out of water at times as they adjust to their new lifestyle and the struggles it brings. However, judging by the promo we were shown for the new arrivals, there'll be plenty of fun and parties too!

Other bits and pieces from the day:

§ The unseen promos we were shown for the Silas plot, Costello wedding and new Freshers will be released online in due course.

§ Some fans/bloggers from our forum's infamous Brendan Brady thread were in attendance and Emmett Scanlan was very generous with his time - meeting everyone at the train station and catching up with them over lunch.

§ Emmett (who now has a beard as part of a mystery storyline) told his fans that he has no current plans to leave the soap, and he's really excited about material that's due to air over the coming weeks.

§ All of the other cast were lovely too, but special mention has to go to the new Freshers, sixth form favourite Lucy Dixon (Tilly), Stephanie Davis (Sinead), Alex Fletcher (Diane) and Claire Cooper (Jacqui) who all chatted to Digital Spy.

§ New boss Emma was really welcoming and enthusiastic over what's to come in the next few months.

§ Chatter on the day revealed that the Silas murder which airs in Hollyoaks Later will be the death of a regular character.

§ Hollyoaks bosses are looking to do lots more online in the coming months, using the internet not just for publicity but as an extension of the show itself with extra features and bonus bits.

§ Hollyoaks now has a new stylist - so perhaps some of the characters will be getting new looks…

§ Hollyoaks' new band Daytona Lights performed an acoustic set for us and were really good! It'll be interesting to see how they fit into the show.

§ Burger bar Relish is no more and a new set is taking its place! No official word on what the new set is, but our money's on the new coffee shop we heard about earlier this year.

§ Dodger is going to start working at the SU Bar, which should see him thrown right into the centre of storylines with the new Freshers.

§ Hollie-Jay Bowes was seen in clips with the new Freshers, so it looks like Hollyoaks Later won't be the last we see of Michaela McQueen.

§ Ethan's days as a single man could soon be over, despite his new reputation as a shameless three-timer! Who will he woo this time?

§ Fake priest Father Francis will be back following his jaunt in Las Vegas.

§ Finally, Bart's attempts to win back Sinead will continue, leading up to "the grandest of grand gestures" and "the most spectacular Hollyoaks event yet" in November.

I'm thinking maybe

Will might be killed trying to protect Theresa?

Ok So Silas and Brendan are away to get into locks, Rae tells Brendan's son he's gay... i think Silas might murder Rae as Brendan has motives and might get the blame for it ?

What did Jamil do to f*** up Texas' chances with Dodger? I missed it yesterday, only caught Later and not the main show.
He said to Dodger that 'the best man won' which made him think Texas has said something about them being official/serious so Texas got pissy with him.

Yeah I think the same actually, it kind of hinted towards it today in E4's episode where he got Rae involved. I'm just loving how big of a mystery it is, it's all so exciting!

Ah OK thanks!

On another note, Jamil really can't act! His outburst today was incredibly cringey!
