Only on Hollyoaks can you commit multiple murder then come back.

I'm looking forward to it, like I said previously does kind of seem like a lame attempt to try and pull viewers back in but I'm still excited to see what happens.

Tbh, Hollyoaks these past two weeks has been magnificent, I guess this shows you what two weeks without teens could do. Although we have Teen week coming up soon, I hope Silas slaughters them all.

Lynsey really is the best all round character, so grounded and has such a good heart. I love her friendship with Cheryl so much too.

Just watched E4's first look and there's a MASSIVE MASSIVE spoiler (it was a shock kept under wraps to surprise us, seriously don't read it if you haven't watched):

 

 

Lynsey's dead, it's a whodunnit storyline as it seems many people have motives

do they always Kill off my favourite characters, one of Hollyoaks best actresses, tbh she deserved a better exit

 

Even I was shocked at seeing that spoiler and I don't even watch anymore!

She was my favourite character for YEARS, absolutely devastated at this news!! :(

Also surely it was Silas seeing as he's come back next week?! Couldn't it have been someone like Texas or Theresa to die instead :(

ME TOO. It's what I was most excited for!! I'm actually genuinely upset, it really felt like her character was only just peaking :(

 

NOOOOOO way, they did not just do that!

 

Gutted though I am about that,

as Lynsey was by FAR and AWAY their most likeable character

, I have to say big kudos to Hollyoaks for managing to keep that quiet. I don't think anybody was expecting at that at all, and certainly in this day and age it's nearly always IMPOSSIBLE for soaps to keep a major development like that a secret.

This sounds really drastic/stupid but

I actually might not watch anymore, she was by far and away my favourite character, easily the best all-rounder and so likeable... If I'd known she was dying it may have been slightly less 'omg actual wtf' but the fact it's a shock is worse, I can't even right now. GENIUNELY upset for the death of a soap character, what is life?

I'm absolutely gutted that Lynsey has been killed off. One of my favourite characters. TBH though, I was expecting it to happen because Lynsey was getting into so many of the storylines that it felt similiar to Rae. Secondly, a lot of the dialogue gave me a inkling as well. Would of liked to have seen a scene with Doug before she went because I loved their friendship but overall a power and dramatic episode. Devestated

3hours later, I'm still shocked. I wonder if

the photograph of Will has anything to do with the murderer as it was such a random scene

Although I am gutted I do think this will be amazing for the show. Sometimes in soap when you tell a risky story it really pays off. Heather's murder in EastEnders is a great example. If they keep the aftermath going for months and throw in twists and turns along the way then this story will be amazing. Plus it involves ALL of the best characters. (Except the one who just got killed.)
