Omfg please

any one of Maddie, Sinead, Bart and Jono, I have a horrible feeling it will be one each of the two double wedding couples though, probably Cindy and Doug or Ste, which I really don't want because Cindy is fabulous and I want Doug and Ste to just be happy!

Doug is an awful character so I wouldn't mind. He's so whiny and needy and wet!

This sounds AMAZING.

I've been feeling that there hasn't nearly been enough death in Hollyoaks the past couple of years. I'm hoping for Jono / Maddie.

Also DEPARTEE NEWS (this may be unrelated to the other spoiler):

Ally is off. So I imagine his big "reveal" (whatever that is) happens at Christmas.

It wouldn't surprise me if Rhys was killed off, I mean I think his character is doomed once the affair is announced. It could give Jacqui the deseved storyline she deserves. Emma Smithwick totally underused her

Eoghan seems to have fitted in pretty instantly. I can see him being brought in full time. I really like Lacey's thing with Dylan too, although it's hilarious that he can lip read given that she doesn't even open her mouth to talk. In fact in today's C4 he wasn't even looking at Ally when Ally was talking! The actor is actually deaf though so whatever.

Departee:

Ally's leaving before Christmas. PRAISE THE LORD.

I thought

Rhys could have been killed of the explosion as I believe the character will be ruined. However recent producer has posted a photo of him and Jaqui into bed together.

I think

Jono & a older character will die, I have no idea who but it shouldn't be too soon. Wouldn't mind Doug being killed off but wouldn't expect someone like Cheryl to be killed off.

I'm going for

Rhys. Jono & Tony to die in the explosion

I'm going with

Rhys and Jono. I would say Maddie aswell, but I suspect she'll stick around and escalate her vendetta against Esther (whom spoilers say has an inadvertent hand in the whole thing).

Have we seen the new trailer? The one area where Hollyoaks really does genuinely excel over the other soaps is their promos, and this is no exception.

Apparently

people were devestated with one particular death (Popular character) So I'm guessing Jacqui/Tony. I think with Jacqui dying, Myra will announce that Rhys had an affair with Cindy to Tony, I think it's what it seems to be building too. I think Jono is a certain to die

Two people have confirmed to live

Rachel Shenton tweeted on Friday she was filming scenes ith Keiran & PJ (Ste & Doug)

I think it's difficult to tell

who the deaths are based on that, because if it's coming from people on the show, then we're not necessarily talking popular characters, but popular cast members. Andrew Moss has been there seven years now, I'm still not ruling him out.

Hollyoaks is shit hot right now! Myra getting all prison bitch badass on Rhys was pretty much the greatest thing ever. The bullying storyline actually seems to be getting serious now rather than lame rumours about facial hair. Tony is finally getting a look in again and the revisiting of Ste's violent side is welcome. I just wish he'd hit that pansy Doug a little bit harder!

I agree Jark. As much as I dislike the bullying storyline it's been building up great, I assumed the climax would be something along the lines of Esther killing herself (it was also nice to see ruby realising how awful everyone has been)

I'm now hoping Doug Dies in the Crash, I mean judging by everything can his character actually be saved? They've made him unlikeble and with everything he's doing against Brendan at the moment I can't see Ste wanting to marry/ be in a relationship with Doug. Where does this leave Doug's character? I think killing him off would arguably be the best option.

I'm also hoping Rhys is killed off, I think he's a great actor but like Doug, I can't see his character managing to remain around especially once the affair comes out as he has no family in the village and limited friends.

Although a recent director posted a photo on twitter of him and Jacqui in bed together

I know, Jono will more or likely die because of him actually re-starting his life etc. But Kirkwood announced "at least two will die" so who knows, there might be more!

Also Spoilers for the Friday the day after the crash

One Resident here's life changing news, can they deal with the consequences? Just when they were safe, tragedy strikes for one much loved couple

LOVING Maxine, I hope Hollyoaks don't go down the route of Maxine & Darren having an affair in the future! Darren & Nancy deserve to be happy!

This affair storyline has actually been handled amazingly! It's had great twists and turns and the ending of the C4 was all kind of *.*

CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK!

Tony spotting them and then feigning blindness was one of the most brilliant soap scenes of the year. God bless Hollyoaks.

It was truly hysterical, I loved that little twist. Tony playing blind for the next few days is going to be a joy I think. I hope he's allowed to exact his revenge before everything else gets in the way.

In other news spoilers show

Ste is in a coma after the crash. I don't think for a minute he'll die, alas. I really don't quite understand how such an unlikeable scrote as he seems to have become Hollyoaks' romantic lead.

I'm going to revise my death predictions slightly. I still think Rhys and Jono are out, but spoilers imply it's merely AT LEAST two characters rather than exactly two. I reckon Annalise might be a goner; it's telling that the writers have only remembered her friendship with Cheryl in time for her to become part of the wedding storyline, and since Scott left it's very much felt like that group of students (Rob and Barney included) have been chucked aside.

YES I KNOW IT'S DREADFUL THAT ALL I TALK ABOUT IS HOLLYOAKS BUT IT'S SHIT HOT THESE DAYS

The episodes today (and I include the E4 preview in that) were marvellous, great build-up so far. Much as I like Brendan,

Doug fishing the phone out from his sock was a rare rock-on moment for the spineless shit. Also it's nice (well not nice as such) that they're finally stepping things up with Maddie, and abandoning all pretence that she's not a hateful c**t.

And if all these oh-so-subtle ominous references the writers have been throwing out come true, we won't actually have a cast left at all. Pretty much EVERY character was given a line that implied they were going to be blown up shortly in a spectacular pyro display. They may as well just have had a script consisting entirely of the words CRASH, FLAMES and DEATH.

I am really hoping that it's Maddie who dies. I did think Doug may have been a gonner but as pointed out above Rachel Shenton has confirmed they live. I kinda hope any of the "Gretna Green" lot go (sorry, don't know all their names.) The only one I like out of them is Tilly. Rhys can go for me as well. Not liking him lately.

I think Monday and Tuesday's episodes were a bit lacklustre considering it was "the big week." It would have been like Corrie advertising the tram crash episodes as "the big week" and then not having the actual crash until Wednesday/Thursday. Only started to get excited in the final scene between Myra and Tony!
