Hollyoaks seems on a bit of a downer since the big fire. I know there's always a come down period but still... After Warren, all this nonsense about flop bands and the AWFUL teen group arguing over who gets to shag the goth boy...it's just FLAT.

What IS the next major storyline? :unsure: I really hope they continue with the whole Anita/Racism thing. It's got POTENTIAL when done right. The whole paint thing was actually quite gripping.

^ Yeah I agree :(. I've always been a huge fan of Hollyoaks but recently it's just gone down the $h!tter. It still has potential with alot of it's storylines but I'm not half as interested in it as I used to be which is a great shame.

Agreed. Although I expect it to go on for about a week longer, then they drop it for a month or so and then bring it up again when everyone's totally forgot about it :mellow:

I don't know. I'm 24, so I should have grown out of it long ago.

I really just believe it's just going through a lull. It's struggling with it's cast. The cast is weakening.

I've said this before, but the newbies that they're bringing in are just not up to par. At a time when they're losing so many big players, this is a bit of a killer.

Theresa remains dreadful, Archie is a total abomination, Loretta's OK but nothing special. The Roys I guess have potential (particularly Ash) but...

 

And even of the established cast, the producers totally seem to have it arse about face when they're handing out the big plots. Sasha? Ravi? COME ON.

Michaela is blatantly the best teen in Hollyoaks yet hasn't had a major storyline yet. I think Hollie-Jay has proved she is a capeable actress at both comedy and dramatic storylines so would love her to get a big storyline.

 

Sasha, I can take or leave. I think the actress is improving but the character is foul.

 

 

Totally. Hollie Jay is miles ahead of Nathalie Emmanuel (Sasha). Yet who gets the big plots? HMMM.

Steph doesn't seem to be in it much any more. I can't believe they have just stopped with the Anita racism story and now the Ravvi homophobic storyline is going to go nowhere i think as well.

I think we'll see a lot more leave soon aswell. An awful lot of the cast are coming up to 3/4 years on the show, which tends to be the standard before everyone leaves for Hollywood or what. The remaining Ashworths, Calvin, Sasha, Kris, Zak, Amy, Gilly, most of the McQueens... I wouldn't be surprised to see them all bugger off soon.

Just watched tomorrow's eppy, and the guy who plays Spencer is brilliant! I had something in my throat when he said

"I don't want anything (after finding out he has everything of Warren's) I just want Warren!"

Really moved me LOL :(

I haven't watched in a while but can someone tell me what the hells going on with Hannah being with Darren and thingy ... I can't remember her name with Tony?!
