Indeed. It does feel at times like they're no longer aiming for the 16-25 demographic, but the 10-16s.

Although it should be said that ANYTHING involving Archie is doomed to be $h!t. He really is the most abysmal actor on the show at the moment, portraying a not very likable character. It's a match made in hell, and no good will come of it. BIN IT.

Keep in mind he was originally in Living On The Edge or something terrible on MTV. Which is basically the British version of The Hills. So perhaps Oak's producers thought if they got a mention on that show, some of his "fans" would move onto the Oaks to see more of him?

I refuse to believe he has "fans".

And as if having someone from this "Living On The Edge" was suddenly going to be a big draw? It's watched by about 2 people!

Hollyoaks Later always is of good quality I think. Absolutely loved last weeks, the death of Sarah was hard to watch, in particular those last five seconds or so ... really well done too.

The Ashworths storyline was utterly pointless though and I didn't actually care as much as I probably should have done. :( Jacqui and Cyndi were amazing though ... oh and I loved Cyndi's friend too, she was amazing, I hope she becomes a main character like the welsh girl did after her appearance in Later .

I think the girl isn't real too tbh.

Since Kerry Katona keeps on getting new series, that means that she must get good ratings. And this is Kerry Katona. Now imagine how many people must watch ...Edge

Loving Hollyoaks at the moment, it's really picking up. Last week's late nighter was excellent.

This week's not bad. I'm actually quite glad to see Jake back - he may be a psycho but he's hot, especially when he's doing the sad mournful puppy dog eyes. I also like that Nancy is getting a chance to shine again, Mike losing it at poor rubbish Archie, and EE's Mad Jackie turning out to be Zoe's mum.

I couldn't really care less about Newt though.

woah I didn't realise that was her out of EE, she looked really different. anyway tonights was actually good for a change, although im not really that bothered about Jake coming back tbh. I always found him quite dull before he turned psycho.

I knew it!!!

I'm kind of surprised no-one has commented yet, did no-one else watch the "flashforward" episode this evening?

I really enjoyed this, and after a couple of dull months, I thought this was a rather inspired idea. It's what Hollyoaks does best - they're not going to always be able to compete with other shows on the acting or on the budgets, but their scripts and production are often pretty darn good.

So many questions, it's a pretty good way of keeping viewers tuned in for the next few months.

Biggest shocker for me was

Lauren apparantly being pregnant by Spencer :o

^ I missed that bit! :o

Calvin getting shot was oh so predictable though. :( I really want to know what happens with Zoe / Lydia. That's what I'm really interested in! :(

It was a blink and you'll miss it moment.

There was about two seconds of dialogue at the wedding reception, with Lauren telling Spencer that she'd already taken the test, and he was going to have to face up to being a dad

Really?! That's so ... random. I suppose it'll make good storylines for the future though.

Oh and I reckon Jacqui shot Calvin ... it's pretty obvious in my eyes. Although maybe they won't go for the obvious option ... who knows.

Decided to watch it for the sake of it. I havent bothered with Hollyoaks for a good year or so, therefore I have no idea who some of these people are

The obvious guess is Malachy or Mercedes I suppose, or Lauren/Sasha. Hopefully it wont turn out to be that obvious though.

I don't think they'd make it an obvious one necessarily, I think the whole point is that you're geniunely not supposed to know, hence why you had some really random suspects thrown in there like Rhys and Zak.

If I was going to bet, it would be between Sasha and Des. Sasha clearly HATED him, and there was something a little shift about Des.

The killer is .........

Tom
