^^ i think a couple of others did it but i think they released both the singles before the album? I'm not sure though, its certainly a massive achievement for anyone who can get two no1's on the same album now.

It's a very strong followup and is just a beautiful, eerie record. It reminds me a lot of 'Call The Shots'.

 

I know what you mean, its the same genre and style as CTS but i think this one has better lyrics and is a bit more mature and deeper myself?

If they do get a #1 with this, would they be the first act to have 2 #1s off one album since the new download rules kicked in when a song can enter the charts whenever it likes?

'Run' will be the first song which is already on an album in the shops to make number one since 'The Way I Are'. Although 'All Summer Long' climbed to the top in the week of the album's release, as did 'Viva La Vida'.

 

You could class 'Singin' In The Rain' but that's an anomaly really...

I wasn't quite sure on Run, cos yes technically, though the album has only been out a couple of weeks. (Don't want this to derail, but can anyone explain why people keep saying that Run wasn't meant to be a single, when Leona filmed a video for it weeks ago?)

Album sales have been high so I think it will prevent them getting this to #1 - Will still make Top 3 with ease though with the right promotion :)

Maybe a video was made just to promote the re-issued album? I think also due to the demand from fans and media after she performed it on X-Factor and the fact the original went back into the Top 30 the record company realised they would be mad not to release it!

Yeah, it just feels like it was always the plan - to create hype towards the album, and then hype to towards the download.

TOP 5, good song and video, much better than the promise.

From first listen, it seems a bit weak. Like a B Side or something. It's really boring too. Certainly not one of their best at all. Rather one of their worst imo, but it'll probably grow on me a little bit. Not a lot though.

i really like it i always listen to there songs a few times before i get into them and i always like their songs and this should easily be top 5

i would love a numbe r1 but i think it will be a number 4 hit

I love Nicola, if she had a nose job, shed be stunning... im really annoyed at the lack of Nadine in this 'era'... she has been the voice of girls aloud for years.. why push her out now that they are all liked? =[ and cheryl overload... she is too pale in this vid only nicola [and sarah =O! ] can pull it off.

Yeah, there is a distinct lack of Nadine, but I don't even think she's the best singer. The most consistent is definately Sarah so it's nice she's got more to sing this era.

 

The line that makes this song is: "I know you may be disinclined." That one bit makes the whole song. Not very often you hear the word "disinclined" in a song.

I think it's very weak as a song. Goes nowhere.
